  1. Maxi -- I think he means RG -- and it's a trade if I'm not mistaken...
  2. Hey Snpr -- Can you get any tighter on that dial man?
  3. Get one Brownie, they are so unique it will instantly be one of your favorite watches...
  4. This is exactly why I think its strange to give guys a hard time if they charge a bit more for their used reps..If they are in your country and there no customs or movement issues (I trust the guys on the forum:) ) it is well worth a few extra bucks...
  5. No one mentioned the Ti old school Breit Chrono Avenger?????
  6. This is one of the most informative threads I've read on any forum -- and it was done in one page
  7. They aren't making the best version of the SOSF these days, and most likely never will again. Doesn't mean you can't get a nice watch, but forget about matching the quality of the old one...Not gonna happen
  8. I love them once they are on..installing them, that's something else
  9. Ah, the CA -- you are absolutely right!
  10. I like it Matt -- Can't beat the price either
  11. Ombre -- You're English is great man, no worries The Breit's with 22mm lugs are the Seawolf, Steelfish, Skyland and a few of the Navitimers have 22...Also the BCE...
  12. 56 years old is wwwaaay to young! He was a no-nonsense guy who you either loved or..not so much. My dealings with him and correspondences were always good and I will miss him...
  13. Red -- I'm in Hermosa Beach, and I literally could not stand up in my own alley! Those were the strongest winds I can remember and I've lived here all my life -- hope we are done with that! Browny -- Not sure where you were standing when you took that shot, but don't do it again! Stay safe...
  14. Agree with Jeff -- AP Diver, and the Hublot V6, if you get a good one
  15. We are talking about watch straps here, aren't we?
  16. +1 The Brookstone 4-head winder is a great deal -- I've had mine for almost 2 years and it's been a workhorse and is super quiet...
  17. 100% agree! Mike is the man -- and I dig the blonde in his sig. Sarah Marshall, I think...
  18. Plaifender is right -- I have the clone movement and this watch is at least as accurate if not more than my two gen eta Seawolf's. There are some things to look out for when your diver arrives. Make sure you tighten all your screws, especially on the caseback. Two of mine came off in the first ten minutes...And be extra careful with the bezel crown -- in fact, leave that sucker alone. I look at it like chronos on an a7750 -- no reason to mess with it
  19. Could not agree more, Jeff. I just got mine today and this thing is a stellar rep! Thanks for the pix...
  20. Yeah, man -- Keep us posted, cuz that sounds strange even for a cheaper rep.
  21. I've never even heard of a quartz being that much off in a day! Ridiculous! Send it back, my man!
  22. The other tell on the V3 is slightly longer chrono pushers, but that is just silly in my opinion. If someone is that clean a critic, they will also see the bad lume dots and various other miniscule faults. In other words, don't worry about the so-called "flaws" -- it's a great rep!
  23. Wow! Guys fighting for the right to fix your Wolf! Pretty cool, I must say
  24. I have 2 chrono ROO's and in my experience, either you have a good movement or you don't. If you don't no amount of math or overthinking will save you from the inevitable truth -- servicing and or replacement. I let mine run down and reset when worn again.
