Not all the "10" markers are crooked, but that, along with misaligned date wheels are the most common problems. It seems like some buyers are holding off for a V2 version to come out.
Seems like the crooked "1" in the "10" marker is a common issue. I have rejected 3 watches with the same problem and I am close to giving up until they improve the quality control. I am sure it can be fixed as they are only glued to the dial, but a pain to have to do it on a brand new watch.
I have the BP version. Had the CG's trimmed, installed a gen crown and a relume. The insert on it is not as good as the new one, but I still prefer the quality the BP seems to have over the new J12 one.
Do not expect to see those watches again. I had over 30 stolen a couple of years ago including 4 gens. Insurance paid out on the gens only, as expected.
I once had the silver sunburst dial version on a gen IWC strap. It is a very classy dress watch but it always seemed to wear small even for a 39mm. I have a 7.5" wrist and it always seemed lost. I have the FA Jones and a IWC Vintage that seem to fit me better. Try and find some wrist shots to see how it looks to you. Otherwise it was a really good rep, with a nice quality look and feel.
The smurf blue gen ceramic insert is a very rare item. Many a gen owner would also like one to turn their sub into a shark. Never seen one for sale. I suspect it would fetch a high price.
Post the QC pictures when you have them and you will receive plenty of helpful advice. A thread on Repgeek has also been started about the inaccuracies of the V3.
