I agree. This appears to be the problem: It seems that the hole of the lever is lined with some kind of a plastic tube and the crown is not springloaded. When the lever is closed -- the force is pretty strong -- what gives, is the lining in the lever hole and thus the end of the lever near the pin gets pushed out. If the lining of the lever whole has enough elasticity, then reducing the diameter of the roller of the lever might help. From what I can see without taking the CG apart, shaving the lever does not seem to be an option as there is not enough material because of the lining of the lever whole. Please bear in mind that I am guessing a bit as to how exactly the lever is constructed.

looks good and thanx for the quick pics. date alignment? AR quality? and the bracelet to lug spacing looks loose?
all the best.
I only advanced about 8 days with the set function on the case and the dates snap into place perfectly. I obviously have not been able to observe the overnight change by the normal movement function.
I am still learning about the fine points of AR. I have quite a few watches including gen complications and I find the AR on this watch excellent.
Regarding the spacing between bracelet and lugs, I also was concerned about that when I saw the QC pics. The top end of the bracelet fits perfectly. The spacing at the bottom seems due to manufacturing tolerances of the bracelet piece. The bottom one is about .2mm narrower than the top piece. Bear in mind though that the watch is significantly magnified in the pics and the spacing is much less noticeable in reality. I will check with Josh whether he can get me a better end piece for the bracelet.

Wow looks good! How's the running seconds hand? Is it smooth or a little jittery?
It appears fairly smooth. Yes, there is a little jitter. However, it is a significantly more smooth then the chrono hand on my 3717.

Just in from Josh. I am impressed. The watch is beautiful and I am happy with the quality. Am still trying to figure out how to take pics that more accurately represent a watch.

How the DSN Pre V case ?
These are some pics of my DSN 201/A (without any mods except for the strap). Hopefully, the pics will give you an idea of what the case looks like. In my view, it is beautiful and the quality is excellent. The link at the bottom includes some discussion on how it compares to the gen.
This is the link.

As others have said, this is an interesting and welcome development. I just placed an order for a 236. Will share what I find out.

Please add me to the list for a vintage dial. Hope it's not too late.

Would welcome opinions and thoughts. Also, if you can, please include information on ways to source it. I currently have a DSN case and would use that by default. Will share the results when I am done. Hopefully, there will be a spring loaded deep dish T crown in the not too distant future.

Your point about the crown gasket sounds interesting. Another member just posted pics, and the CG on his watch looks a lot better. I noticed that the crown on his watch is located much closer to the case. I also looked at pics of the gen and it appears that the spacing between crown and case on my watch is larger than it is on the gen. It seems, there is a good chance that the CG problem can be fixed if I can figure out how to get the crown closer to the case by about .5 mm.
