I don´t think that watch is from the ´60s, more likely as you said ´80s or early 90s. My grandfather has one and it looks totally different than this one.

Things are not that dangerous. There are a very low percent of lost packages in China when returning it. The only problem is the wait, those airmail things are unreliable to track online.
