  1. Hi, thank you for your reply. I saw that the GMT hand and the main hour hand met at 6 o clock tonight, and the GMT hand was slightly, but ever so slightly ahead. But I just took off the watch, and from a different angle - the GMT hand lines perfectly! Maybe I just jumped the gun? It actually looks a lot better now. I'll report back tomorrow when the hands meet. I suppose it's the same result, I just don't want to keep adjusting the GMT hand as I've done that alot so the result at 6 o clock would be the same if I adjusted it back to midnight? Thank you!
  2. For example - at 19:55 the GMT hand was pointing sharply to 14 on the bezel, which was also aligned with the marker for 8 o clock. Now my understanding would be at 20:00 local time for the main hour hand, the GMT hand would move to 14 and point sharply on the thick indent on the dial. Is this the way it should work? Also, what might cause it to run slowly? Thanks.
  3. Hi, My brand new GMT master is starting to worry me. First it was that the hand was moving too slowly (I just misunderstood how the GMT hand actually worked) Now the hand seems to reach the markers too early! For example, now the hand is practically on the dot for 17 and I still have about 13 minutes before it reaches 23:00 (my time) Is this normal? Thank you.
  4. Looks good to me! Does Connie regulate or test the movements with a machine?
  5. Thank you everyone for your help. I have worked out what I was doing wrong, and now I have my home time and the desired second time showing with the bezel in the home position. I thought the GMT hand worked like an additional hour hand and would move in one hour segments. However, that's not the case! I suppose the genuine Rolex GMT will work in one hour segments? As you can have local time, second time, and a third one with the turn of the bezel.
  6. For this to be a real alternative, the factories will have to do this and then the dealers can sell it. I'd buy one!
  7. I THINK I'VE WORKED IT OUT!!! I have put the GMT hand at the 12 marker on the bezel, and I have kept the bezel on the aligned position. I think that is what maybe you've been saying. But I am not sure how on the genuine Rolex I could track 3 time-zones... Please tell me I have worked it out!?!?!
  8. I'd buy the clone and save $80! Why pay that much more when it's pratically the same thing. And you could end up with a clone, and pay $80 more! I'd be careful with the gold plating, as it may not last as long as the watch...
  9. Hi! I'm new here, but I am on another forum about replica watches. I just took delivery of my very first rep - a Rolex GMT Master 2 Ceramic - so far I'm really happy with it! Well that's all, just wanted to say hello and thanks for having such a good forum! Mexrolex
  10. Firstly, I have been trying to do what you've done with you're Explorer. Track two time zones without moving the bezel. So far either that can't be done or what it now looks like that the GMT hand moves too slowly for this to happen. Secondly, tomorrow I will try that out. I hope my watch is not defective!
  11. Ronin, that's what I want to do. But the green hand moves too slowly for that to work. For example, I reset the GMT at 17:00 (my time) and now it should be closing in on the 12 marker (on the dial) but it's not! It has only moved by a very small amount. I wanted to have my time on the main hands, and then just look at the green hand to show my desired second time and then use the minute hand to work out the time. But that just doesn't seem possible!
  12. So even the genuine Rolex GMT Master can't show two time zones without the bezel being turned? I was sure it could of been done.
  13. Thank you for your help. I was told that this could of been done! How disappointing Is there anything I can do (easily) that would allow the GMT hand to work like a 12 hour hand?
  14. Thanks for your reply. Therefore, I won't be able to have the GMT hand running six hours behind my normal time and get a reading without using the bezel?
