  1. Try at Ofrei, but that movement is way too expensive, you are better of buying the asian one wait one or two years and buy another one (maybe more accurate?), that would be cheaper. Actually you would need a 7753 I guess they run at around $400? Good luck.
  2. Cannon pin is actually the little tube that hold the hour and minute hands, which in unmodded PAMs comes sunk (recessed) and should be at the same level as the minute hand.
  3. If I were to get my hands on a Saphire Crystal with AR from the swiss SFSO could I fit it into the Asian version? Thanks guys
  4. No one knows where to source them? I'd appreciate any help Thanks
  5. Hi everybody, Where does one source a high Cannon Pinion for a Pam mod? I know JB carries: CANNON PINION, HT 2.62 and HOUR WHEEL, HT 2.49 Are this he ones I'm supposed to use? how about the ETA ones like this one: (Pic shamelessly stolen from evildee sorry about it but thanks ) Any help would be grately appreciate it!
  6. Thanks guys, yeah I guess maybe the movement holder isn't a good idea to buy cheap- I saw the same cheap bergeon movement holders in ebay, but for the price I think they may be fakes. is it possible that they are fake? I mean I haven't got anything against fake watches but even if the watches are replica a movement is a movement even if the watch costs $200 or $2000 and I don't want to to screw it up buy using fake tools of unknown quality.... Any thoughts?
  7. Hi, I just placed my first order of tools from Ofrei last friday, but I forgot to include a couple of tools (go easy on me I'm a newbie buying his first tools). I followed The Zigmeister's advice and went for quality, bergeon screwdriversm LG case back opener etc. But the ones I forgot were a movement holder and a dust blower. So I was wondering, I totally understand going for qualitity on tools like screwdrivers, case openers, tweezers, etc. But Which tools are we ok buying cheap? I mean for example, I just got a deal from ebay for 3 comparmented dust covers for $8 when in ofrei they are $5 so I saved $7 , and I bet in a dust blower or a movement holder the quality is not that important. Am I right or am I missing something? Which other tools wouldn't affect if they were not the best quality? Thanks!
  8. Thanks The Zigmeister, I'll start with what you suggested and then get the other tools I need after I get enough practice in 1st Course in TZ school. You are right, gonna buy myself some blank dials for practice. (duh! don't know why I didn't think of that myself) Thanks again!!!
  9. Thanks The Zigmeister, I really appreciate it coming from someone with your reputation!!! I was thinking about joining TZ watch school as you suggested and buying a few but high quality tools (better spend a bit more one time instead of buying cheap tools over and over again, I suppose) I was planning on buying LG case opener Case Holder Bergeon #6 hand removers Dumostar #2 tweezers screwdrivers (not decided on the brand any recomendations?) Is there anything I am missing? remember this is just as a starters kit Thanks
  10. That sounds like the right thing to do, but I'm not one to go with the flow. Hey even Pros had to start somewhere right?
  11. Hi, maybe I shouldn't be doing this but hey what the heck? I am going to try to relume a Omega PO. I have no idea where to start I just figured out I gotta start some day or else I never will. Can anybody point me to a good reluming DIY guide I have been trying to find one but couldn't, any ideas? I am starting to buy some tools from ebay I guessed I could go cheap at first and then start to upgrade little by little. Where can I buy the lume. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
  12. I think it is because andrew has 3 versions: Normal Perfect Ultimate Andrew's Ultimate is the same as Josh's perfect isn't it? ROLSUB0017 - Submariner SS Black "ULTIMATE" - Swiss ETA 2836-2 http://www.ttwristwatch.com/index.php?main...products_id=796
  13. I just realized Thickness is different though: 18mm (trustytime) Vs. 14mm (perfect clones). Shouldn't the thicker one be more expensive?
  14. They have the same movement: Asia 7750 Valjoux Working Chronograph The Dia. is 43mm for the most expensive one http://perfect-clones.com/bl10007-chrono-a...raph-p-746.html and 44mm for the cheaper one http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...;products_id=28
  15. Hi guys, I'm new at this replica watch thing, never even bought a replica. Read the posts about dealer's and it seems that perfect clones & Trusty Time are pretty sure bets for quality and not getting scammed. Plus their watches seem to be really nice. Browsing through their websites I found the Breitling Avenger, which I just fell in love with, both dealers seem to carry it but one's got it for nearly $70 more. I mean other watches they have around the same price but on this one there is a big difference and to me (remember I'm new at this) they seem exactly the same. Am I missing something? Here are the links: http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...;products_id=28 http://perfect-clones.com/bl10007-chrono-a...raph-p-746.html Thanks in advance for all your help
