It sucks! Last time I had to send a watch back to Josh it had to go Fed Ex at $65.00.

I am not an agent but you should get a term policy. It depends on if you smoke or not. Smokers get hit hard. If you're young, a 250K policy won't be that much. Get a quote online.

Looks great! Thanks

The Oris Regulator is a great watch! You got a deal. It's on my list of gens.

I'll take it on a bagel with cream cheese!

I'll bet the cops are sportin' some bling right now!

I agree that bargains are rarer. I use the second hand market to buy some watches because there are QC issues on the originals. I will pay closer to initial cost and take a ding or two to get one which has been functioning correctly on someone else's wrist. It is true that more and more people are trying to get as much as they can. After all you know that next purchase is only going to be more expensive.
The modded prices astound me though. It is clear that folks will often pay more than what you have into a watch to get it already done. I have been offered $1,000 + for more than one watch on an unsolicited basis. Someday when I find that must have gen and don't have the money I will give in. But for now I am very happy.
A lot of members, like me, enjoy a 2 day delivery when I buy from someone in the states.

I jumped over there. It's all the same people talking about the same stuff. They are nicer to newbies though.
-
Same thing happened to me. The dealer didn't take credit cards. He finally told me to forget it as it was to much of a pain. Money bookers sucks!

It is a Timex, but a solid gold Timex especially made for the Pres by one of his good friends that is a" big wig "in the Timex organization. The back is inscribed George W. Bush President of the US and the dates in office. A one-of-a-kind timepiece.

I've had two (different from yours) and both had parts fail after a few months. My current one is the best but one watch pod is out
Good luck with yours. It makes a nice display, doesn't it
I have a 8 watch winder off ebay. Still going strong after a year.

so I guess changing out the insert it out?
i dont want to ruin my watch
or is there a special way that i missed on how to do this.
If you don't care about the insert that's in there now. Just remove it, clean the gunk out and put in the new insert. That's what I did and it's fine.

I hope he doesn't mind having both his first and last name appear here in public...
But he does sound like a nice man :-)
That's his forum name. Why are you being like that?

A while ago I asked the forum for a TT DateJust link. No one responded. I received a PM from Richard and he said he would be happy to send me one. He did better than that! He sent me 2 links! He never said anything about payment or help with shipping to the US. Richard is a kind gentleman and is very helpful to anyone who asks. If this is the kind of people on this forum, then I think I'm in really good company. Thanks Richard!

My TT Daytona died in 2 days. Going back to Josh for replacement. He doesn't give refunds.

I just ordered one from Josh, it should be here Wed/Thurs. I'm interested.

Does anyone have a TT oyster link for a DateJust? I will buy it. Thanks

I just purchased a So called perfect Sub and a Explorer II w/ white face.
Both from wo-mart.
Please tell me I picked some good reps and a good dealer!
I've read lots for the last 2 days now and couldn't wait a second longer.
Great picks from a great dealer. Welcome and enjoy. Time for a second job!

where does the 'other' GMT come from ?
Josh
-
One dealer has the MBW GMT with the 2836 movement. One dealer has the GMT with a swiss 2893-2 movement. The MBW is $350.00 the other GMT is $450.00. I am confused. Which one would you buy?
-
After emailing another dealer a number of times over the last 2 weeks with no reply, I emailed Josh with a few questions on his GMT. About 2 minutes went by and he replied! That's service! That's why I buy most of my watches from Josh and that's why I will continue to do business with him! Thanks Josh.
