I have the same watch from Joshua and it is solid. Had about 10 months, wear it quite often, and it is one of the best running watches I have...

You can;t go wrong with this one and Jochua is great!!!

I believe that the date font on Angus's new 2836 model is better/closer to the gen that the 2824 model.

The dial appears to be a bit better also..

Although they do help, I don't see anything wrong, the balance cap jewel is in place...so not sure what is going on.

You'll have to get a watchsmith have a look at it for you.

Not necessary, what I want to see is the balance kock and balance, so just make sure the rotor is on the other side of the movement...

I would say your balance kock jewel is missing. When dial up, the balance rides on the kock jewel, when dial down, it rides on the mainplate dial side jewel.

Take a picture of the movement with the caseback off, and post it.

Should I remove the Rotor before taking the picture?

Mines has totally stopped. I'm on The Zigmeister's schedule to send it off to him and I wouldn't be surprised if he finds it rusted out. I have complete confidence it will come back to me in excellent shape and will run for years to come.

Was yours acting similarly before it stopped all together?

The movement on one of my favorite watches is acting strange. It is a 45m UPO with the ETA 2824-2 movement. The crown stripped some time ago, which does not really bother me, but recently the movement stops when on my wrist or with the dail face up. I have to shake it and then it runs for +/- 5 seconds or more and stops again when I hold the watch dial up. Strangely enough, if I positions the watch dial down, on a surface or just holding it that way, it runs beutifully without stopping . I have removed the caseback and there does not appear to me that anything is amiss.

I thought I had it fixed a few times because it ran with the caseback off, face down obviously, but when I buttoned the watch up and reinstalled the case back...what do you think happens..YES it stops as soon as I hold it in a vertical position or dial up, like oon your wrist. :cc_confused:

Again it runs fine while face down.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be or had this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated...I miss not being able to wear my UPO

Finally received the 1:1 copy after 3 months. Like Watchmaker said, it is exactly what he has delivered. The only fault is that the bezel is not tightly attached and can easily come off. The ss strap is not hollow linked. However, the cyclop magnification is identical to the real thing. Overall, it is one of the best replica that I had ever purchased. I need not show photos because they are identical to the ones watchmaker had shown.

I have an ETA UPO so I now don't feel so paranoid about it screwing up on me.

Hate to be the barer of bad news...but my ETA version has the same problem. I believe the problem may be the timing of the purchase when these first came out. Min is also about 10 months old and lasted about 6 months before it stripped.

Is it a "noobmariner"? Picture would help...I had this problem recently and opened up and glued a lume marker back on with some model glue...not sure if it was the "correct" glue but worked for me...

Loose and Low...Just to the point it won't rotate around my arm...

Still love my totally brushed Navi...sorry for the bad photos...
