  1. I am SO tempted to get this; can anyone point out flaws to be aware of since I have no info on the real deal? Any help is appreciated. Bryan
  2. I got 2 from Andrew and both were perfect, but I'll admit, for the little extra that Eurotimez charges, I'd be tempted to say the QC is worth it, though I cannot personally vouch for it, as I have never bought from Eurotimez.
  3. I watched this last weekend; awesome stuff.
  4. wow, that bezel is CRAP.....I can't wait for the ultimate super duper version.
  5. That's it; I am getting one. I have just about blown a rotator cuff shaking martinis. I knew there had to be a better way.
  6. What version has this problem?
  7. would someone please pm me the url's for these businesses?
  8. dude, did you get a job with blackwater?
  9. I have one with the black face in all SS with all original links that I might be willing to part with, if the face color is not a deal killer.
  10. Sounds like someone has a case of sour grapes because they cannot afford to keep up with you. Hell, I can't either, but that's life.
  11. I am all for giving EL the benefit of the dounbt if for no other reason than he was my first, and I got so much satisfaction out of my first rep.
  12. Everyone, I just learned my first painful first-hand lesson since starting this hobby 3+ years ago. I sold my 289X Panerai 029 to Czarczar for $450.00 a few days ago, and it arrived today. Czarczar emailed me and guess what? He cracked the case back, and it was not a 289X, but rather a modified 2836. I took Eddie Lee at his word, and thought I had something special. I never bothered opening the caseback, as I thought I had no reason to. Well tonight I had to refund a members money because of the dishonesty of a "collector" and because I was too stupid to verify the movement before selling. With the rampant problem of clone movements, I would be very careful selling or trading anything where you have not checked the movement, or it could come back to bite you. This is a huge endorsements for "collectors" that are known to do thourough QA, and even then, verify it yourself, or you might end up looking like a chump. Czarczar was very good natured about the ordeal, and I appreciate the level headed manner in which he approached the problem, and his refund has already been seen to. I have learned most of the lessons this hobby has to teach by reading, researching, and asking questions of my fellow members. This is a painful and embarrassing lesson that I hope many will learn without going through it yourselves. What a total bummer. Regards, B
  13. I must be one of the lucky ones. My IHS has been humming right along with no problems, no resetting of the hands, and it is keeping damn accurate time.
  14. yeah Chad, the 46mm Super Ocean Heritage with eta movement won the "as is from the factory" waterproof test, and it's dead on accurate, though knowing you, it may not be your taste. Honestly get the corrected dial Super Avenger Chrono or save your pennies until the ultimate Deep Sea Seadweller comes out. Doubt my wisdom, you must not, mmmm.
  15. Bro, Here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=198 There's 16 reputable dealers to choose from. Find a picture of what you are looking for and email that and any details you're wondering about to them, and you've got a good chance of finding what you're looking for. Generally if you want to see good pictures of the standard rep watches available kingwatches.net is a good place to look, but I don't buy from King because I picked my dealer a long time ago. That's the best thing to do; read the dealer reviews, pick a dealer and then work with them to source the watch you want. That's my best advice. Bryan
  16. yeah aren't those made for Armani by Fossil Group?
  17. I thought he started a restaurant....
  18. I knew it....CBR has gone to work for US Customs....All your watch are belong to us!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Narikaa, Will these be available with eta movements? Bryan
  20. Experts, is this the one we've been waiting for? Correct size, etc? Please chime in!
  21. bump for the common interest; my wife needs one.
  22. the crystal does not appear to be terribly domed either.
  23. yeah for the love of Pete; could the rep makers please make an AP with a damn eta 3 hand movement? Is that too much to ask?
  24. yeah, the case is still wrong. I heard from one of our dealers late last month that we'd have a Deep Sea Super rep inside of 6 months.
  25. yeah yeah, i was just yankin ya. And I also agree with tick123, surfing this forum at all hours of the day, though that may be more a sign of obsessive compulisivity in general, rather than my affinity for watches..
