chocho, those cheaper Daytona's have many many flaws. The vintage Daytona model is really an advanced build for the advanced rep collector. In order to get into this watch you need a a good case to start with. DW had a good thing going for awhile, at an affordable price..but he's now dubious. I don't reccomend the cartel watches to put any money into if your going to build a nice Daytona.

Cool, that will work. There's no better option other than a gen bracelet. Those cost 800-1100$ and I didn't think you wanted to spend that much.. TC's been overseas and just got back. He has hundreds of emails and messeges to answer. It might take him a couple days to get to you, but he will I'm sure. He should have those in stock too. Here's my SeaDweller with TC's bracelet. Really, there are no good options if other bracelets. If you didn't care for the one that came with your watch... the others out there are the same. Rolex bracelets are light and to some cheap feeling anyway. The quality of the gen is really nice and TC's is close.

I emailed him a couple days ago but haven't heard back yet. Meanwhile I got my TC sub, I installed a gen insert this morning, it snapped right in. Unless you guys tell me the TC looks bad and the Clark looks or operates better ill probably stay like I am. My worry was the insert in the TC bezel.

Buy the one I showed you on TC's site. It's the best one for your watch.

Nice work! Consider trying a better crystal and a bit wider band. The crystal that's on there is a little bulbous and probably not as clear as a replacement.

Ha! I found a guy on a gen forum last night selling inserts. I emailed him before I went to bed. He replied this morning...turned out he lived 5 miles from me..I talked him into delivering me some inserts Inserts just snap in...I got lucky! This ones got a little patina
