5514 is my grail too. If I could only have one watch..that be it. Ubi of course has the the best I've ever seen. I might start one when I get done with the few I have left to finish. The thinner low profile case with HE valve is the biggest hurdle to overcome. The caseback wouldn't be that hard to get engraved.

Also..as to the rose dial, I think Jmb will be able to make them decal style sometime in the future. I almost bought a rose dial with movement last month, but passed as I found out the 390 movement has parts issues. There's a similar deal on VRF right now with an old snowflake dial/hands and Eta movement.

Sounds like your bleach is too strong, you need to dilute the bleach with water. Try 50/50 water/bleach. Don't leave it in very long, pull it out every few minutes..rinse it off and dry it and look at it under the light. Keep doing this... checking the progress until you get the result you want. I usually have the opposite problem, I guess my bleach is too "vintage" Bleach seems to get weaker when it's on the shelf in the laundry room for years on end.

Sorry for your loss Rob, been there too. Rolex seemed to jump prices crazy high just lately. Seems like stock subs were in scale with inflation through the years, but now they look to have doubled. In their high end watches they already make mega money pieces for those that can afford and want them. I don't understand why they wanna price regular line watches out of reach of average watch nuts like me that really can only afford one expensive watch.
