  1. I'm pretty sure this is new, Josh has been talking about this one for awhile. I see two versions for each color, a white dial and darker "aged" dial. The aged doesn't look all that good to me. Rehuat and lugholes look pretty good..wonder is it is really gen like clipon bezel construction? ....I'm still not happy about my 1665 bezel that said that..and wasn't
  2. I just got an MBW 5513 that's been converted to a blue snowflake via Yuki dial and hands superlumed...it will soon be on the way to master Jmb.. for gen crown/tube, a gen T19, caseback engraving and a gen blue insert. Currently being built at Jmb's, my 5512 with gen crown/tube, gen T19... is being converted to a Tudor non flake no date, with caseback engraving and this gen dial. And another 5513 conversion to Tudor black snowflake no date with-super secret-yet to be seen..dial! With 5.....I think I'm set on Tudor's for awhile.......(at least until I start the MC)
  3. ubi, is the jewelers tools at the link a real 702?
  4. Sipping late morning coffee with my Glowflake
  5. Not a 5513...just a lowly 5512
  6. Hmmmmmmm....I wonder what it will really look like mounted in a case..
  7. tick........tick.........tick........ This one's gonna rock!
  8. Yep, Josh sends real pics of the actual watch. He asks you to not post because of the newbs that post the pics..asking for advice.. and then all the other newbs and "experts" chime in.. and find tons of imaginary issues. I have seen this happen a few times over at RG. I don't blame Josh at all. When the 5th gen PO came out comes to mind. It wouldn't be worth it to me either.. to have to answer countless emails holding hands and explaining and possibly having to QC another watch and send more pictures.. and then more emails..all for a 118$ watch. Not enough time in the day. Josh gives us pretty good service and I can understand his position.
  9. Nice collection, I really love Tudor chrono's
  10. That puts it in better perspective smaller like that......but I thought it looked good anyway. If I picture that dial...smaller, aged vintage slightly, hands over it, in a case w crystal over it... you get the idea. It's gonna look great J! And I know where that one needs to go!
  11. Thanks for all the replies and opinions guys. The seller didn't know. He's a stand up guy and has refunded my money.
  12. I'm going to check with the seller and see if he sent me the wrong crown.
  13. Ken is Raffles Time on ebay Very nice work Bones! Those dials fit the silex cases then?
  14. Decided it was time for a mid-day switch
  15. I haven't tried a gen tube yet, it came with it's own tube. So..if I'm hearing you guys correctly.. you don't think it's genuine. I thought on a longshot, maybe it was a version of 700 series I hadn't seen before.
  16. Dwellin right behind you
  17. I unpackaged this crown yesterday, it was sold to me as a genuine rolex 703... Never seen one like it. A very nice man suggested I post pictures of it here Have a look and tell me what you think it is, and where it came from..pics taken with a 4x loupe over my phone lens.. It is about the same width as my gen 703's, but look at the thick rim underneath and it is not as tall as my others.....
  18. Look for 20mm "shark mesh" on the bay..Canadian seller has a pretty nice product
  19. I told you they'd be fightin over the Liberace dial!
  20. Cool! And a great price too, I have bought a couple from eBay too. That makes your bracelet much nicer I haven't installed any yet as I don't know how. Do you know of any tutorials for clasp swapping?
  21. Very nice!
  22. Yes, I meant from a 16600 to be a 16660
