Mine arrived today - only three days after it was sent from Shanghai! It's absolutely gorgeous, just as I'd hoped. A couple of issues though: 1. There's a small piece of dust under the glass, right in the middle unfortunately. 2. The movement is totally dry, and consequently the sub-second hand runs quite jerkily, the rotor is noisy, and the watch runs a little slow. I'll get my local watchmaker to oil it next week

This "myth" was tested on the Mythbusters TV show. They managed to almost duplicate the sequence of events described, except that they found that the barrel needed to be severely weakened in order to break apart and drop its load of bricks.

So at what point to we send payment to the seller and give shipping details?

I came home yesterday to find a very official looking letter in the mailbox, which had originated in Switzerland. I'm in Australia, I don't know anybody in Switzerland, and have never had any form of business dealings with any Swiss company. As you may suspect, the first thought that came to mind was "oh crap, it's a letter from some lawyers threatening me with some sort of legal action for buying counterfeit watches". With some trepidation, I opened the envelope to find... an annual report from a company I've never heard of and have certainly never had any dealings with. Riiiiiiiiight. By the way, the envelope wasn't addressed to me by name, but obviously had my correct address on it. Very, very odd I say!
