  1. #1 - 5218-202/A Followed closely by the 028A.
  2. Paul, Please add me to the list for a vintage style dial! Well done, mate!
  3. I agree, Tanya! I don't think I can hold off on that 024A...
  4. I'm in for at least one, as well! Great effort to W and all involved! FGD, I'll be PM'ing you regarding a 202/A dial.
  5. Yep, definitely Asian based on the balance wheel, the metal surround on the anti-shock assembly AND the lack of the small dimple on the block where the mainspring connects to the regulator. Yeah, bridges are the wrong shape and you can definitely see the CdG stripes underneath the stuck on foil plates.
  6. That's a black dial, so the only thing it can be is a 177. Unless the photos aren't showing the true colors of the dial?
  7. I'll be in for a couple of sets, at least.
  8. Took the words right out of my mouth, babola. Nice to see you around again!
  9. That's my understanding, as well, avitt. IWW no longer does PVD coating on reps.
  10. That's what I'm thinking, too, R.
  11. I believe the "long arrow" dials are said to be from extra/left-over PAM195 dials and were only used for the early 005s. Thus, rare and VERY sought after.
  12. DETAILS PLEASE?!?!?!?! That dial looks good - *really* good. Better than any Zero dial I've ever seen, in fact...
  13. Please give us details on the dial....
  14. Oh, goodness! This is going to push me over the edge for a 3646 project watch. VDB, you'll be hearing from me soon...
  15. Oh, really? This: Certainly sounds like calling out the staff to me. If not, who on earth on you insinuating is doing the mismanaging? Have the courage of your convictions, man! Let's hear all the operational and managerial errors that you've seen and been PM'd about. Again, I'm all ears. I'd honestly like to hear them. Sorry, am I being precious again?
  16. It's sure that something went wrong where? With the raffle or between LOS and D4M? I'd agree with the latter, there's no doubt of that. However, I fail to see how it's "sure" that anything went wrong with the raffle. Did you stop and think that it has absolutely nothing to do with having the "balls" to start a thread like this - and everything to do with the fact that no one from the RWI staff believes anything happened with the raffle and that the raffle has nothing to do with LOS leaving? If LOS felt he got cheated in his proceeds from the raffle, I see no reason he wouldn't have come out and simply stated so. The same for D4M, if he felt that RWI didn't receive enough of the raffle money, I would certainly expect him to voice that concern. At the very least to the staff of RWI, if not to the general rep collecting public. What I see is a bunch of tinfoil hatters putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 11. I beg any of the multiple people that PM'd Lani with their concerns/facts/suppositions/etc about what "went wrong" at RWI to PM me with the same info. I'd really like to know what everyone else seems to "know". I've never been closer to a situation and still felt so out of the loop, if anything really happened. I don't think anything has, truth to tell.
  17. Yes, rooster, we at RWI will absolutely be striving to improve and move forward once we're back up, not look to the past. However, I feel threads like this are a double-edged sword, honestly. While open discussion is always a good thing, the only people that have any *real* answers are the people actually involved - and the people not involved would have no sense of if they were being given all the facts or not (which I have absolutely no reason to doubt they are in this case). So, what we're left with is 99% of the posters in a thread, myself included, are merely fueling the rumors and speculation. The danger in that is for the casual reader that comes along and only reads a handful of posts. He/she thinks "Wow, they steal money at RWI! No way am I going to register/participate/donate over there...". That's my fear. I'll say it again: I am lucky enough to call both LOS and D4M friends, and I think they'd call me the same. I have absolutely ZERO reason to believe that either of them has EVER acted in a manner that wasn't 100% above board in any/every situation. Further, I have no reason to believe that the reason LOS left RWI had anything to do with the raffle.
  18. Tech issues, 100%, Indy. Not money issues. At least nothing that I'm aware of. Oh, and nice cop-out, techlogik. I'm just going to come in and drop BS unfounded rumors, but my sense of morality keeps me from getting specific? What the hell kind of sense does that make?
  19. Hmmmm, a couple of quick observations from me, hooligan, an Admin at RWI: 1. I don't know the specifics of LOS leaving the forum, and I'm sad to see him go. However, I respect his decision and his reasons are his own. 2. For anyone to accuse LOS or D4M of "mismanaging" funds from a raffle is beyond ridiculous, in my eyes. I have had zero involvement with raffles, donations or payments to vendors for keeping the site up. However, I have seen no evidence to suggest that anything has been mishandled. Further, I refuse to believe either LOS or D4M have intentionally mismanaged money in any way, shape or form. I also refuse to believe that the current server issues are connected in any way to the latest raffle or to LOS leaving RWI. 3. I fail to see any "conflict of interest" with Greg selling reps. It's not like he didn't allow other dealers to sell on RWI once he started. Plus, if you'd ever priced one of his watches, you'd know he wasn't making much profit per watch - he was the cheapest out there for almost everything. techlogik, I would also be very interested to hear of these issues you see with the operation/management of RWI. Please do explain further. Let's hear it out here in a public space. I'm all ears...
  20. My gen PAM210 was my favorite. The Radiomir case shape on the gen is something that needs to be seen IRL to be appreciated! Reps - my modded 7753 powered 196 that babola now owns and the first rep I ever bought, a 2893 powered old-school 063 off eBay for $200. Yeah, I should never have sold that...
  21. Looking great, Simon! I remember when we talked about the possibility of a 205/A way back when you were doing your first run of the base dials. Glad to see a long-term project come to fruition! I'll have to get with you about ordering one of these bad boys!
  22. Hmmmm, could this be the final upgrade for my DSN PAM027A? I think it might be!
  23. Yep, not much else to say on that one. I don't know of anyone besides DSN.
