  1. This is DSN 5218 / 203a that arrived last week on a Strap Culture with pvd buckle.
  2. Pugwash, your venom is so predicatable. This is all you and TJ have in life is it not? Your spoutings on a watch forum.
  3. I am an art gallery director. Been in this business all my life.
  4. Let me say something here now in self defence since TEE JOKE seems bent on slandering me, which I would love to see him do to my face, the little coward. Two years ago I put Tee Joke on IGNORE, because it pains me to witness someone make themselves look so totally ridiculous. Yes Tee Joke, you are a ridiculous person and it is so very clear to everyone here. The fact that you have not ben banned is a mystery to me. Now, you say I have well documented dislike of Islam? Yeah me and about a billion other people. What Islam stands for in the world today is largely dispicable and murderous, with no room for compromise. I grew up in Hawaii, where white people are the minority and I am very tolerant of other people and races. In Hawaii, we all get along by actually making fun of the diversity and background of different races and cultures. Not that you are willing to listen, oh ridiculous one. Now then, I will once more put you on Ignore, BTW, I removed you from ignore (the only member here with that honor) because I reconsidered and thought you might be ok. Not so, You are a small minded small man looking for a fight and I want no part of it.
  5. Looks awesome. Just heard from DSN and my 203a is on the way. Yay! I ordered a light tan strap with pvd buckle like your from Strap Culture. Great combo.
  6. It sounds as if you want to take the brushed look off and make it a polished bezel? Ceramic is a super hard material and I am not so sure that can be done. I would suspect that the high polish finish is achieved in the firing kiln when the bezel is formed. Worst case. you can probably order a polished bezel and switch it. The polished ceramic bezel looks really good, and having it brushed, IMO takes away from the beauty of the ceramic.
  7. It looks like TJ took the bait as I knew he would. If you can't make jokes about religion, then you are a humorless soul, because religion, all religion, and specifically a couple in particular are just so very worthy of a good jab in the funnybone. If not, the only alternative is to cry because it is just so damn sad.
  8. Oh [censored]! I forgot how hilarious that Tom Mabe tape was. Thanks for posting it again. BTW I am looking forward to Salman Rushdies new book on the giggles of islamic fundamentalism.
  9. Fandango....Time to dance the Tango! IIEEEEEEE !
  10. It's about time the dollar gained ground over the Euro. Not for Europeans of course, but it makes my visits to Finland a little easier
  11. Excellent quote from a fellow with a price on his head for his sense of humor.
  12. Lanikai, I respect your opinion on this matter, and we can still be friends while agreeing to disagree. Aloha.
  13. I'm sorry, I grew up on National Lampoon and Mad magazine and I am a big fan of tastless humor. That does not mean that I don't have any taste however. I also have much compassion for my fellow man, the downtrodden and those who cannot defend themselves. When it comes to humor, I do believe that there are bounds to tastlessness, and in the case mentioned by our friend Lanikai, I cannot say that the line was crossed IMHO. I also believe in the sacredness of women. I believe that a woman should be placed upon a pedastel. Just high enough to look up her dress.
  14. I don't think iceberg meant offense in the least. It was a humorous jab. I have also worked with disabled kids and know when a joke is meant to be just that. Don't be a bunch of cranky old women for christs sake.
  15. Check out Trusty's website, he is one the board here and has a big selection of all 3 of these makes of watches. Andrew is quite helpful and if you ask him which models are best, he will give you good feedback. Good luck, all 3 of those companies make stellar watches, and some of the reps are outstanding.
  16. Pug, thanks, I read your link, and it is old news. I don't need any further education.. Perhaps you should read my post again. Oh, I forgot, when I say the sky is blue, you say it is not blue but green.
  17. You can sue anyone for anything anytime. That does not mean the plaintiff will prevail. International law regarding internet posting and photos without copywright are indeed open for copy, and it would be interesting to see precedent of anyone successfully litigating a claim such as what we are discussing here.
  18. My post meant to convey that I also feel rather sorry for Klink. And your statement about public domain is very correct By Tor. Anything posted on the internet is free game and can be used at will, unless protected under copyright. Use of tutorials and photos for the benefit of those interested in the hobby, is a compliment to the author of their value.
  19. What happened is that Klink has cancer. He is going through chemo therapy, and is clearly having great difficulty with his mind. Very sad. I used to find him amusing if somewhat acerbic and whacky. He has done some sketchy things with this website, but I believe it is the result of a lonely, sick man, who is trying to hang onto his hobby.
  20. Today the 13th, Thurday, my Deep Sea
