  1. Thanks mate..at least it's gonna be kept in the rep community..
  2. very nice update mate...and an innovative way to gain just a little more clearance..
  3. Looking good mate..congrats on another build..
  4. Just got this part..although not 1675 but close.. Now missing my bezel assembly and it'll be off for modding and assembly..
  5. I'm curious about this..how many of our members here have dials with 'Spider webs' patterns? I understand that this only happens on Transitional models during the 80s when Rolex went from matte to glossy dials. I read also that it applies to a wide range of their popular models like the Sub 16610, Sea-Dweller 16600 and GMT Master 16750, just to name a few.. if you own such a dial or have a franken or gen with this dial, let's see some pictures..it would be interesting to see how the various patterns are since each dial is as unique as a snowflake..
  6. congrats on such a gorgeous timepiece..I cant wait to send mine out as well..
  7. wow that looks very nice indeed...congrats and some wrist shots are definitely needed..
  8. Look for Narikaa for a Noob sub...alternatively i have a spare noob 16610LN without the black bezel insert..also bought from Narikaa..a very good starter Sub.. Pm me if you are keen..
  9. Oh mine :notworthy: ....never liked the Daytona before but it's definitely getting into my good books..might be a gen purchase for me as well... Liking the gold dial...very nice indeed...
  10. Looking very very nice mate...you should wear the watch in the day..you might change your mind..
  11. @ Ry: Well i got a 1655 with 2836-2 that's been blessed by the hands of Spinmaster...slightly enlarged lug holes..have the rafflestime sterile milsub caseback and gmt hands...incoming a set of gen spec spring bars and Clark 25-116..bidding on a gen dial as well..about to purchase a WSO bezel assembly.. so pretty much almost everything.. the gen is at a price i cant say no to...
  12. wow..that would make an extremely vintage watch.. i wonder what the rest of the watch looked like..
  13. Finally some form of closure to this open-ended question..not a very happy ending to say the least but hopefully the new owner can bring wm9 back to its glory days.. that should at least give its founders joy and pride in the afterlife..
  14. What crystal is that? I think that would look very sweet on my snowflake... also love the fading on the insert...congrats on the new acquisition! Wear it in good health!
  15. Loving that faded black-greyish insert...i'm in a dilemma now.. should I just get the gen or carry on the project build (got everything except the dial and bezel assembly)...
  16. very nice woof...i need a gen dial too!
  17. that's a very good result for a casual 'bang-out'..i wonder how fantastic the end product will be if you were more 'serious' about your work..
  18. yeah lume will be totally sick...it looks really really really nice...
  19. Very very nice gen M..congrats! if you like to lighten your watchbox by one particular watch, PM me yea? Oh and let's see your entire watchbox or should i say watchboxes..

  21. hmm fair enough assessment..that's right..i didnt notice that the 't swiss made t' or 'swiss-t<25' wasnt there.. odd thing is it is being sold by a shop that sells all gen watches and have the feedback to back on it..unless the owner knows something i dont?
