Simply put.. I think at 30-40 EUR ($45-60 USD)... you would sell out all under about 200 units for sure.... that's almost a guarantee...
I would definitely be in for some...
As for crown guards... i am in possession of a 029A crown guard assembly... the lever and pin are still in the blister pack while the CG itself was taken out of its blister pack (still have it though) to see if the screws matched up.... i also have the invoice itself from richemont.... been thinking of looking around for a place to make them...
as dsn's ad states it comes with a blue leather strap if i remember correctly, i believe the dial is a blue... i've seen a couple of the blue dial fantasies out there...
if it was anthracite i would've ordered one already....
Probably more like new trainee's entering the workplace and wanting to show their worth.... then they calm down....
One of the guys on my Saturday soccer team is a higher level guy in USPS... he mostly trains new hires and looks at processes.... he said it is funny to watch the newbs all gung ho about doing their job.... they work so hard and then 6-9 months later, they get with the program and work at the same pace everyone else does.... slow...

We're having another SoCal GTG... will be held at Noon at BJ's in Irvine/Tustin (off Irvine Blvd)(same location as last time)...
Looking forward to a great turn-out again!
I hadn't seen that... but 28xx all interchange parts from my understanding.... 2824 is a higher end movement due to finishing and tolerances from what i have seen... kinda toyota versus lexus if that makes sense...
as for the install, leave it to a professional.... unless you have plenty of experience already because most will screw it up...
SFSO would be for 2824.... lello already has 7750's should you need one... he may in or out of stock at the moment...
the purpose of this thread was to entice lello to make a 2824 specific one for the SFSO...
I was close to pulling the trigger but the caseback just looks a little off compared to the one on the chopard website... could be a bad angle though....
i'm a nitpicker though and it's a gorgeous watch....
We're having a GTG for all of California in late April.... want to get a headcount of who can make it from this board.... we voted and the winner was the Bay Area....
Thanks!
the main difference between the 2836 and 2893, besides the quality of the movement itself, is that when setting the gmt hand on the 2893, it jumps....
i just sent an e-mail to get an appointment with The Zigmeister to have my 2893 powered 063 ziggified... i feel like a lil kid waiting for christmas.... visions of it on my wrist cloud my mind!
I have both the silix strap and andrew/josh strap in the air... i will fit both to a UPO and take some pics... we shall see what the differences are...
