I was in the process of modding the insert on my MBW 16610 and managed to bust the little gasket that holds on the bezel. I compared it to a caseback gasket on a 6263 that I had tore down on the bench and they appear to be the same. While I am at it I figured I would get an extra for my 1665 to use when I switch out to the T39. I have heard that there is a groove for a gasket under the retaining ring. Does anybody know where to source these in the US? I know Cousins has lots of gaskets, but I don't have the foggiest idea what I am looking for...

If you insist on continuing to show that tourby, I'm going to have to buy one!!!

Really enjoying this thread, what a great idea!

Me neither, maybe there is something to the rumor about Ebay links from the RWG...
-
I wonder if you drill the lugs out to take 2mm springbars if this will still be an issue?
-
I just noticed that myself....

I read the RWG, TRC and RWI and usually one of the 3 isn't working at any given time...

Yeah, Pam for me also. I thought the CG was hideous!

What a find! Thanks for the story.

The 6' lug should read "Stainless Steel 5790358"
And 12' lug should read "Registered Design 1665"

I just sold this one:

If I am not wrong, those from Otto is not the correct ones for the vintage model, rather they are for the modern Daytona.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
I think you are correct.

You need a need pusher, or at least the push button with the stem intact. I will try to look into my tray to see if I have one for you. Will let you know.
Thanks, I actually need 2, I broke the other one messing around with it...
If you don't have any spares a recommendations on where to buy one would be appreciated.

I bought this from a member on another board for a good price, but it had some problems, one being a stuck pusher. Apparently the previous owner had dropped it on the floor and broke one of the pushers. The guy I bought it from had got the pusher to work but it was permanently half screwed in. I thought it would be an easy fix, but when I got it apart I can't figure it out. When I disassembled and re-assembled the functioning pushers I think I broke off the other pusher stem, because they both look the same. I have been looking all over the board for something that would help, but it seems like most of what I found concerns the DW 6263 and not the Seagull hand wind like this one. Anybody have any ideas or at least somewhere to get parts?

I had the same thing on an LV sub I got from TWG a couple of years ago. At the time I thought it was something I had done...

For what it is worth, I think it looks cool! Maybe not accurate, but if you are happy, then it is perfect!

Interesting, I have never heard this before. Sorry, wish I could help...

You can pick them up for <$25, shipped:
I wish I would have seen this link a few hours ago, I paid $10 more for the same one, oh well! I picked up the Air Hog Havoc to practice with until my mini Bell gets here and it is sure fun. I just wish the battery lasted more than 10 minutes...

This is so weird, I had no idea there was such a thing and now I see posts about them on 2 separate boards in 1 night. I'm gonna have to get me one of these!

Hi Fred, I am glad you are settled in on the board, I think you will love it here. I would avoid the gold stuff, the plating tends to wear off. If you are in the market for an Omega, I would keep your eye on Whacko Bird Keeper (Dealer) over on the RWI, he sells a nice little version for under a $100, asian movement, but totally decent!
And yes, the guys here are even more anal than our friends on the prop boards, god love em'

That pearl is amazing! And it looks like it is cheaper than $31 on their site...

Great post, I look forward to seeing the next!
