I live in canada but the package was denied exit from china...
Something's not lining up, Canadian customs won't review a parcel until it gets to Canadian Boarder Patrol. So it usually needs to get to either BC, Ontario or Quebec before it gets rejected.
Are you saying it's not even leaving China?

Your absolutely right. The 4 tick subdial is accurate. Predominantly on the steel bezel model.Beautiful watch, congrats!
One thing I learnt recently from my friend Martijn (@Martijn), is that some of the genuine Big Bang DO have 4 subdivision markers on the 6o'clock subdial instead of 3.
I have always thought that the 4 markers on the rep subdial@6 is a tell, but I was wrong. I have since also seen 2-3 genuine big bangs with 4 subdivision markers on that subdial.
I guess we all learn something new everyday.

Hey guys, picked up this Hublot v6.5 with upgraded Mikey Ti screws set from a good member on the RG forum.
My brief observations:
Flawless colourless xtal and a well worn gummy. Nice and smooth. Really makes me think twice about swapping it to a Donerix strap.
And gen for comparison
Checklist:
-Colourless AR - chek
-Ti screws - chek
-4 tick subdial @ 6 o'clock - chek
-Smooth outter bezel rim - chek
-Movement engravings - chek
-Recessed date disc - chek
And two details I was surprised to see are:
1. Brushed hands and hour indexes - chek
Rep...
2. Textured subdial! - chek
Rep...
Gen...for comparison...

Wow. Such a beauty! Congrats on your purchase. Can't go wrong with a gen
One of my favorites! Enjoy it.
Hard to beat a gen GMT!! I also prefer the Pepsi, I don't want mine to look like a sub!! These have a lot of utility if you travel over different time zones as well.
drooling~
Thanks for the positive feedback guys. She's certainly a looker and never gets old.Wow. The watch looks minty. Congrats.

To Panerai's point yes the GMT is very functional. I live on Toronto and I find being able to track pacific time very useful having so many clients there.

Hey guys,
Took a look at my rep collection over the last few months and realized I had a good chunk of change invested. Decided to sell some and invest the funds in a super franken build. Shortly after completing it (the super franken build) I had a change of heart and sold it off like the others.
Spent the funds on this bad boy. It came with EVERYTHING including a brand new black insert and 4 more months of ROLEX warranty as well.
Enjoy!- 1

Ezio,
I personally wasn't a fan of the clear caseback myself. I'm only trying this out to visually see the money I put in her. I may go back to standard spec caseback.
Im sure the novelty will wear off...Unfortunately a watch isn't like a car. You cant hear and feel the money you put under the hood.I must say i dont like the caseback mate but its a complete watch now wear her Well she is a stunner
Beautiful on the inside and outside just like a girl from your Dreams -
Thanks guys, yeah she's certainly an impressive build.
Once she comes home (which is hopefully mid next week) I'll post some more photos. I give all the credit to Mike, he actually put the entire watch together.
Guys don't be scared about the costs, if you wheel and deal the parts and take your time, your build can come in at less than half the gen cost. Ceo and Rudy will tell you the same. -
Hey guys,
Over the past few weeks I toyed with the notion of upgrading some of the stock Yuki part to gen cal. 3135. With such a special build, who not try and add some "reliability" and "quality" to a long term investment. Anyway, after shipping my baby off to Mike the opportunity to get my hands on a gen cal. 3135 presented itself and I went for it!
I was going to hold off until she came home but couldn't wait. I present to you my updated franken 16613 now running on a freshly built cal. 3135. In addition, I had Mike install a Thomas Preik sapphire caseback so that everyone else could celebrate and share in the pride of this spectacular masterpiece of a movement.
Current specs as follows:
-TC v6 mid case
-WM9 bracelet
-WSO bezel (ST friction washer)
-Thomas Preik caseback
-Gen "SWISS MADE" dial
-Gen hands
-Gen date disc
-Gen crown/ tube
-Gen crystal
-Gen cal. 3135 movement
I was surprised to see a weight REDUCTION after installing the gen movement and sapphire caseback- 1

Nice job with your SMP. I've had a few of these but Gen, currently wear a black one (photo below).
Most people with those specs and cash invested will go nuts to get it as period correct as possible. I admire that your project was all about getting it the way YOU wanted it.
Wear her in good health brother.
