I've been gone for a loooong time.
For those that don't know me, well, I've been around since the wee early days...
Don't fret I'm back
I just wanted to say hello to all of my old pals.
Cheers from Eunomians
When a dealer sends me the wrong watch, I send him the wrong amount (less money). No, just kiddin' around. It has never happened to me, thank goodness. Waiting for the right watch all over again will cause me to start drinkin' in the morning, everyday, until I get the replacement. Not a good way to go... Best of luck.
Dang, that hurts to see that beast. I'm outta surplus funds now, too. Of course - only when the dope sh*t comes out. Geez, I should buy a lottery ticket...
Wouldn't it be nice to see a Type XX?
I am still wanting a rep, but it still looks like when I get my first decent paycheck, I'll have to buy the real thing. No date function, of course!
Lookin' good! Enjoy your new addiction - this is only the beginnig of a long long path to bankruptcy, panic attacks, anxiety, serious cravings & sheer madness!
Bingo! Great vehicule to use your Zenith to time 1/4 mile time speeds! Killer watch!
If I could only cut my ooold German V12 in half (weight-wise) - it might only then catch up to your dust! Probably not, it's 15 years in the game already
Ohh well.
I've been timing my summertime fwy speeds today with this one. According to the odometer, it's right on target.
C'est dommage pour Zizou... J'suis sure qu'il a été enervé. He will be remembered for that, and not for his incredible career. Anyhow, I, for one, will remember him for being one of the greatest players ever.
Please gentlemen, DON'T SCAVENGE THAT JLC CHRONO or rare beautiful watches like that just for a rep!!! People have been shot for less than that in the Wild West! No seriously, that is just plain heresy (in the case of that JLC) to remove a movement from such a glorious & historically significant watch. Find a suitable no-name watch for the dirty deed
I will wax a little further on this topic:
You cannot use V72 movements with the GMT function or the day/date. They are thicker than the standard V72 movements!
