  1. A new name? Well frankly that's a tough one. I can see the confusion with that other RWG... But this RWG is thee real deal Mothership from the Old Days. Perhaps a new name is indeed warranted but hopefully it will be a historically relevant name. Not sure how this would take shape but a proper ode or tip of the hat to our roots is crucial in maintaining the empirical provenance we have forged thru time.
  2. Closed! Lowww temp! Open grill is a no-no!
  3. Going big today with my vintage Breitling
  4. I decided to wear one of my large art deco aviator watches... So for today, it's the sterile-dialed Helvetia
  5. ^^^ Cheers to the Midnight-Sun-Man Today I'm wearing my franken IWC Mark XV with OEM hands + dial + crown.
  6. Thanks gents for the kind words I am wearing this fine specimen today. It appears to be an interesting lesson in aesthetics, ergonomics and subtlety. There is something about the size, contours and presentation that makes this watch remarkable. It's hard to put into words... But suffice it to say, I understand why there are devoted fans of the Nautilus. It is timeless in design and impervious to changing tastes/trends. A true classic in a fleeting world!
  7. Looks fantastic! I have Domi's AR on my Lava. Looks like I'll have to get this done on my Don Ramon!!

    Gold!

I've been wearing this golden beast daily for a few weeks. Great watch, very comfortable and practical. I have yet to see any pics or comments regarding this watch, so I thought I'd post a pic.
  9. Circa late 60s Valjoux Cal. 230 Flyback Heuer German military issue
  10. Great Ken! Lookin' forward to it
  11. Beautiful watch!!! I have been hunting for a good example for quite a few years now. I own it's slightly younger brother
  12. I'm getting ready to do the conversion. I can't find the tutorial though
  13. I have ordered both. And I will post about them
  14. Some thoughts... It's almost impossible to capture Forged Carbon in pictures accurately. It changes dramatically according to light and light angles. I have a FC RG Grand Prix and a custom Forged Carbon Montoya case. There is no way I can take accurate photos to depict the true effect of genuine Forged Carbon.
  15. I did notice that the black datewheel does make the flaw look less obvious. This is evident on my RG Marcus versus others with the white datehwheel
  16. I'm in. I secured one. We shall see what it looks like in person.
