  1. Thanks man! My strap is actually a Watch Boys Gator
  2. Today it's my acrylic-domed Frankenjones fitted with the lovely gator strap in this pic:
  3. Let me know Lello when you know the total. Thanks again Cheers!
  4. Hey, despite the fact that it doesn't exist, I own a black-dialed Jones. I slapped on an acrylic crystal, and I sanded off the idiotic serial number on the side of the case. And then I fitted it with a genuine black gator strap.
  5. I'll def. take a set Lello! Thanks again, man!
  6. There wasn't ever a black-dialed Jones.
  7. Hey Lello, if you can get them in bulk, let me know, I'll def. take a set or two Cheers man!
  8. You're right Chad. I know that people give u a hard time sometimes, but to me your nitpicking is welcome. I've been collecting watches for 20+ years; that means that I've been nitpicking for 20+ years My watch happens to be perfect all around. I appears that some of our dropshipping fellas could give a rats azz about shipping out an inspected example. Some things never change. Anyhow, I agree that prices are going up stupidly. QC should be included with the fee hikes. Cheers PS. The AR is not bad on the Slevin. And I'm comparing it to someone's brand new genuine black-dialed Tag Monza chrono that has incredible AR
  9. You guys should know that I used a white reflector when taking the pics - thus, the white glare. I always use the white reflector to remove the ceiling lights showing up on the crystal.
  10. Lovely Trifecta... Certainly a winner every time!
  11. Yes Lello, the DWs are ETA... The only trouble is that they are getting very hard to get - just like trying to get 7750 movements for under $400 nowdays. Here are my genuine ETA Day/Date Wheels:
  12. Yes, it's that easy Lello. The only trouble is that the ETA Wheels are getting very hard to get since everybody in the rep world is buying them up. Here are 2 closes up of my 3717 with ETA wheels:
  13. Ohhh man, what a GREAT movie! Nice watch, too. Cheers
  14. Lello, get genuine ETA Day/Date wheels - they have the perfect font. I'd send you mine, but I don' have any extras anymore since they are installed in watches.
  15. Looks like double AR to me; albeit a nice, mild and functional double AR
  16. I forgot my dimensions... It took him 3 1/2 months to make mine I was the first one to get one made by him for the 3717. I think that's why it took so long (aside from the fact that he first sent me some crazy strap that was nothing like I had ordered).
  17. I believe that it is coming soon.
  18. Oops, double post. I have no idea why this sometimes happens.
  19. Because of the thickness of 7750-based watches, the chrono pushers do NOT dig into your skin when the watch is worn 'loose' or 'tight'. Wristshots:
  20. Uhhh, I didn't need to post it, but here it is anyhow
  21. I'll take a wristshot this afternoon. The crown screws in nicely. It's easy to screw and the action is smooth (this sounds like I'm talking about something else, doesn't it?) Perhaps I got lucky with my dial, the lume application is perfect. I assume that image compression and crystal refraction might make the lume look crooked or uneven in my pics. In regards to the subdials: they are not shiny. One of the pics I took shows them reflecting light. I posted that pic in an attempt to display the tiny concentric circles design of the subdials. The dial looks genuine. It is flawless. Could this be classified as a Super Rep? I'm inclined to say that my example on my wrist here appears to be one. The watch appears to be genuine. The heft, exacting degree(s) of total attention to tiny details, overall finish, etc... make it superb - fresh out the box. Members here might disagree with me. Remember this thread reflects my personal opinion. But for those that know me, you can expect me to have some pretty high standards Will all of them be Super Reps? Perhaps not as I am sure that there will be varying degrees of QC issues with some of these watches. There are so many little details that can be screwed up, such as marker/lume application, the dreaded Day/Date alignment, rotating inner bezel issues, movement issues, etc... Will yours be 'perfect' straight from the package you get in the mail? Again, luck of the draw will determine this. Recall the 3717 when it first came out? I got an EL special from his first batch. The watch was excellent. Later on, shoddy examples began to emerge. We will find out how the QC issues turn out. I can tell you though that if you order one that is dropshipped, you will most likely face sh
