Need your advice. I have a concepta top gun with gen movement for about 3 months. The crown does not screw down smoothly. But today it can not screw down at all. It is like the screw which is supposed to hold the crown has worn out. You push the crown and screw it down, the crown just bumps out again. The movement is running though. Can anybody tell me what is wrong and is it an easy fix without touch the movement? Thank you very much!

I came across this site by chance. the guy is making some very interesting modded Seiko diver watch. I am thinking make a purchase. but which one shall i choose? any suggestions? i am thinking the 5th or the 6th with a nato strap.

hi Libby. Good to hear GMT is a great model to franken. did you do the mod yourself? I am getting an asian movement model which has the correct bezel but the dial is missing the white date window. I will get the gen Dial and full sets of hands. Do you know what movement is in yours? is it still a faux GMT movement? Sorry for so many questions. But you definitely have a beauty!

@Noel, thanks for the suggestion. However, I think this version do have some fault. The GMT hand should be completely red and the second hand should have the tip in red. However it does have a good bezel and date window.

@Libby, I decided to go franken. You have a very nice piece there. Completely agree that it is a great piece. Can you let me know what mod you have done. Thanks alot.
