  1. Just did the same with my BP who suffered from the same problem (well, more actually).
  2. LOL, I can live with that Andy. Could not live with the uncharged color ;-)
  3. I hate it when the lume color is not correct on a watch. Allthough the XVI has pretty decent lume the color on the hands (uncharged) is not the same white as on the dal lume and again different than the dial printing. I tried to change that, several times. In the beginning whit my firts XVI and some bad lume, or better said bad varnish. This watch is now with Andy to be fixed. (it has the bad crystal seal too, like his) I bought a second XVI and some good stuff to relume (superluminova from tritec, C1). The problem here was that since the hands have only a black back ground from the dial the color still was different than the color of the dial lume (again the uncharged color). After I gave the back of the hands some white color they turned out to get the same color as the rest, pfew..... Finally. Here is the result There is room of improvement but... I had to relume them over and over, that clearly does not do them any good. I'm sure if I have to do it over I will succeed at one try and it will look even better LOL.
  4. Found out that Angus sold these. But he said these are not available anymore. If someone has one laying arround please contact me.
  5. The lume on mine was not even in color. a little yellow/orange on the dial indexes and white on the hands. Give the BP a good relume and you are done. The AR is fantastic and the recessed date not that bad at all.
  6. The question is why? Why would you want to put an other movement in this fantastic rep. The used movements are very reliable. I don't think there is some sort of Swiss variant of it besides the one used in the gen. It is a very big movement.
  7. I have a nice white overlay for 1680. You can have it for free if you want. You can also sent hands and dial and I will relume them for free (not that I am an expert like fineDD or Vac, etc)
  8. To be honest there some room for improvement. Stock MBW date wheel is pretty good and I would change back to it. The relume could be a bit better, same lume on the hands would help. For the rest it looks very good.
  9. An addition. Just bought a gen dial from the Mark XV . Now I need the case even more and also looking for a gen hand set. So if anyone can help/provide these please let me know.
  10. I like my MK XVI that much that I would like to try the XV as well. Now I have read somewhere that there is one version of the XV that has the correct case dimensions like 19mm lugs and slimmer case. You can even go franken with this one. Does anybody know where to get this version?
  11. Don't you have a gen Andy?
  12. The bracelet was sent by Josh a couple of days agoo. By the end of next week we will know more.
  13. No. Period. I asked all of them a month agoo. None of the (non chrono) Ingenieurs are available anymore.
  14. OK, that is a possibility. The rep XV case ist thicker than the XVI case. Maybe this can be fixed, fingers crossed.
  15. No, that can´t be it. The rep Mark XV has incorrect 20mm lugs, same as the rep Mark XVI.
  16. Damn, just order one. Any reason why it did not fit?
  17. Very clean work and a lovely pair of Flieger you have.
  18. I wish I knew. Mine has the ETA 2892 clone movement, anti magnetic cover and colorles AR. It seems that the more expensive one has a better case finish but I can't see a problem there on mine.
  19. Here are some pictures of mine Now, show me yours.......
