  1. The Swordfish is ugly, in a cool way. Haha.
  2. Nothing is "impossible" to get, but some parts are a LOT harder than others. Sometimes it's all about being in the right place at the right time. Hands are very rare. Pushers are also hard to get. My SA has everything exterior GEN except for the caseback. But it took the help of a very secretive source to get some of the parts. If you swap the Bezel, Dial and datewheel, you'll be happier than a pig in sh-t. My Hyper Franken was taken to a level that I haven't seen anywhere yet. Once I get this GEN movement installed, it is done. But I would never do this again. Frankly, at some points you're just better off buying a GEN. For me, a lot of it is the satisfaction of the hunt ! Any jerkoff can go buy a GEN, but when you assemble a great Franken, there's a personal satisfaction that comes with it.
  3. I took a chance on this watch. I liked the unique look of it. Didn't know much about them, except that I had seen them at the local AD's a few times before. I member I know posted his up for sale as a catch and release, and I figured it was worth a shot to check it out. If I didn't like it, no harm no foul. Well, after having it for a little over a week, I have been pleasently surprised ! The weight of it is perfect. I am a fan of big watches, so this is right down my alley. The color combo on it is unique, and gives me a nice option from the usual color combos we see. In fact, I loved it so much that I wore it everyday this week ! The first question everyone asks is if the crown on the left side hits or bothers my arm. I have not had any problens with it, and I have an 8" wrist. If you're not into the bright color scheme, they have more toned down options too. All I can say is that I recommend it 100%. As a matter of fact, I'm going to look into getting a couple of more Grahams !
  4. I would never buy REP jeans. At some point you have to have some pride in what you wear.
  5. Get yourself a GEN ProII or a GEN strap. I have a few different GEN combos and the quality on them is great. I love my SS Pro II, but I also enjoy wearing it on my Pro Diver once in a while.
  6. V3 is the easiest of all. V2 is still a challenge. But like I posted earlier , Smidsy has had success doing it.
  7. Gen white dial batons usually sell for about $125-150. The darker ones do sell for a lot more. The problem with Ebay is that there are a lot of fake dials being sold. 75% of the SA Dials I see do not look real.
  8. Why not send it to Smidsy in the UK ? Quick turn around and he does top of the line Breitling work !
  9. What's your plan for it ? If you want to mod it, all the items mentioned are no big deal. Just from looking at it, I can tell you that if you invest 250-300 in GEN parts, you'll have a top of the line Mild Franken.
