Guys I am trying to see what flaws are apparent on the front of the watch. Anything noticable on the dial?

Has anyone ever come across the crown guard lever losing its ability to snap shut? Or even lost its "snapping" strength.

If so, how can it be fixed? Is it just the pin that's causing the issue or other parts?

Just saw this 292J posted on Toros site. Any thoughts? I know the noob was the best. How do you guys think it compares to it and the gen? I have bought a radiomir myself but might have to with this piece.

Yeah I was planning to do the Miyota version. But now Im in doubt whether the APBands endlinks will fit...

Not sure either. Would have to measure the exact spacing and with of the plots and see if it could fit.

I think someone would have to start with a gen strap and Myiota and look if there is a chance or if the gaps aren't aligned.

Mad is right. There is a huge demand for these plots. I personally would grab a set.

Extreay hard to build though. Perhaps it could be done with the myota version. I personally now a BP but would buy a Myiota when the time comes.

I think most franken are based on an 42mm offshore. The take a while to built an parts have become more scarce.

I have yet to see one for a 15400. If you come across any 15400 dial, please let me know, I would love to build a franken of that model as well.

I don't believe the TDs hold something like that. If they would with a s@12 it would pricy.

Probably the best franken I have seen so far in terms of model. What a piece to make a franken out of.

What AP is this offshore? I have never seen the color variant.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Toro's blue one seems to not have the date window problem. The hands though would need some minor improvement. I also noticed on the blue version that the min and hr dials have a silver lining which is absent in the gen.

Congrats sir on the watch. Aside from the date window and thickness. What other flaw have you noticed ?

How is the overall quality of this piece. Looks as if it is as good as the v4 5711.

Looks great for a v1. Hopefully there will be minor improvements such as the DW hole. Does anyone know if it's from the same maker as the v4 nautilus and v2 aquanaut?

Awesome progress though. Faux chrono doesn't botherme one but would love to see a better dial.
