  1. I have seen a post on trade section with a guy selling a front load fiddy, the pics look identical to my 127, can anyone help me determine whether mine is the Eddie Lee version? Are there any markings to look for? I will add photos later

  2. Ah nice one mate appreciate the time you spent helping me out, that's the bit with advance and retard for if it's fast or slow running. I'm getting it slowly, I got well cocky thinking I could just get bits and build one! As I'm learning it's way more involved, still confused when people say Swiss movement, all I ever seem to find are Asian, and I thought that 21 jewels would be better than 17, but that's not the case. It's crazy!

This is the movement in my 1950 pam127, what movement is it?

I have other pams that all have different movements, after looking online I'm pretty sure my 236 has Asian 21j, bad news for me! Do they have markings to say what they are or can you tell by what they do? If its faux chrono that means it's definately 21j? They look like the cheap ones have a plastic ring around them?

  4. Hi mate, no unfortunately these are all reps, the 239 I picked up for £30 and I got a lovely 127 last night. The 090 is a bang on rep, the sub is quartz but is my work watch the flyback is my fav at the moment, and the 236 I don't really like, I have never seen one before so I bought it not knowing what shape it is, it's just a bit flat and big for me, wanna swap?

  5. How can I tell who made my pam cases? I have six now and everyone has a different size back, what size is the thread they use? I am building a pam and want a nice big glass rear to show off the movement but seems very hit and miss to buy one without knowing how many sizes there are
