I was so exited about this so i was going to order gen dial, hands, tube/Crown and DWs for this and making a franken, but after i tried the gen at an AD i just knew that i like the 3717 much more

So i guess it was a no go for me, but who knows i have changed my mind Before

I have had a few pm´s about how the rep dial and tachy compares to the gen, so i thought i should put up some side by side pics for you to see
And yes i know the rep tachy is in bad shape but it is just so you get an idea how they look side by side.

Thanks for all your feedback! I think you're right. Finding all the different parts will be extremely difficult.

I found a japanese website (baghall.net), selling the IWC 3714-31. Judging from the pictures, the quality looks pretty good.

Also, it has cal.79350 movement and a strap that looks well crafted. Might order it from this site and give you a short review.

Concepta and Hacra are the ones that can supply IWC parts. They are getting extremely difficult to source so patience is required for this project.

However, you may be out of luck with the -31. I am fairly certain that the dial is no longer available at the moment
