Absolutely the worst thing you can you can do to your movement. That little drip of oil can and will get everywhere you do not want it to be. May not happen right away but the long term effects are detrimental.

Unfortunately rotors are a bit noisy, nature of the beast I am afraid. You can make the sound go away but in general this is not a good thing.

Ohh i forget to say that take the rotor off first, i have never had any problem with that.

It's getting a full movement service, taka crystal, ETA day/date wheel, relume hands and dial. I put up some pics when i get it

I've been looking a lot at some models (mainly IWC Portuguese) from trusty time, which I also think is in the trusted section. I really want to have a IWC watch and I don't think I'll find any other. Where can one have a look at these Franken projects?
