  1. Crystal should be ARed. The good news is that the new version comes with it. Contact lello for the datewheel and you have a scarily rep so close to the gen.

Hi, you are right about the issue with the gen tube. Face some problem at first but my watchsmith has been very helpful and mod it for me. If not for the strip off, I will leave the rep crown alone as it already looked very close to the gen. Got the gen crown and tube and I don't wish to see it happen on my PO.

Hi Wijzer, There are 2 versions available and both are great reps and it all depend on the user's choice 1.) Silix's version comes with the correct logo (no feet) but the date font, date window, font used on dial and hour markers are a bit off 2.) Other dealers like Angus (Puretime) an Andrew (Trusty) comes with incorrect logo (with feet) but the rest of the details are very close to the gen. I merely took the best from the 2 version and combine them into 1. Hope the info helps
  4. I have more reviews made but yet to release them as I'm not sure if my reviews are ok. Anyway, Thanks guys... @pix The difference is in the movement used. Swiss quartz or asia quartz. Don't be fooled (which I nearly fell for it) by the better looking dial with the correct painted green red Tag logo. The dealers also made mistake and claim that it is using swiss quartz inside until I ask them to open up the case. The cheaper asia version look better comestically while the swiss looks off as they use the wrong and rusty looking metal plate tag logo.
  5. I know there are quite a number of reviews done on this one. But I just feel that this watch is definitely worth mentioning again and I will like to provide you my version... Being a fan for IWC and Panerai, Omega has never crossed my mind and I never thought I will take a second look at it till I saw Bytor's review. At that moment, I have no idea how a gen SMP chrono look like but after seeing it at the AD and then compared with Bytor's pics. Damn... this one is a super spot on. It was a must have for me. The gen runs on an Omega M64 self-winding date chrono caliber (aka ETA 7750). It comes with a satin finished one-sided turnable blue stainless steel divers bezel, stainless steel bracelet polished / satin finished, stainless steel safety folding clasp with extension, blue dial with wave design, luminous indices with sapphire crystal (Non-AR to what I understand) and It has a 44 hours power reserve. There is a helium valve at 10 o'clock position and it is water resistant up to 300m. Case diameter is 41.5mm and height is 16.4mm The rep factory actually made 2 versions for this super rep. Case diameter is 42mm and height is 17mm. So it is not too far off and not noticeable as compared with the gen. I was confused about the correct colour on the tip of the hands at first. I thought it was red at first but this is due to lighting event. Here a pic that show
  6. Thought of sharing my review with members here in RWG. Square case watch has never been appealing to me. I will not even consider at it if it runs on quartz movement. However, after a trip to the AD. I think my thinking change as I was totally captivated by the limited edition Tag Heuer Tiger wood golf watch. With the mixture of finely brushed titanium and SS casing, this watch weigh super light and unlike tradition watches, there is no clasp to close at the bottom of the bracelet. Instead, it uses a black silicon bracelet with exceptional elasticity for optimum comfort (Silicon bracelet can be trimmed for resizing to fit perfectly). The clasp is on the main watch case where it comes with double safety (push button at 10 and 2 o'clock) integrated using a patented lock and unlocking system. Another special thing is that the crown is at 9 o'clock to avoid wounding the wrist during a swing. The movement used is a swiss quartz movement and water resistance of 50m. Dimensions are L: 37.5 by W : 36.7mm by 10.5mm thick. With its sleek design, light weight and wearing comfort, it is absolutely an ideal watch not only for golf but other sports as well. This limited edition golf watch has 2 versions. Version 1 is the first launch in year 2003 and a new face lift for version 2 Left Version 1 and right version 2 Although both version uses the same case an silicon bracelet, the most obvious difference is in the dial design (version 1 has
  7. Wow. Is that an old school PAM01B rep? Did you send it for re-luming? Yours look white to me. What is the original colour of the lume when you first got it? Is it white or ivory (yellowish). I am trying to know if a true luminova will turn yellowish after some time. I read from a experience member from paneristi forum that the luminova will turn yellowish after some time. Is this true? Thanks
  8. Hi, I did a review for SMP Chrono @ RWI. Hope my findings help here is the link http://www.replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32684
  9. Hi, There are 2 versions of Swiss SFSO. Everything are the same (eg. AR crystal, case, bracelet) except for the date wheel. The first version comes with the correct ETA date font whereas the second version has got the ETA "look alike" but still incorrect. The rep factory has stop producing the first version and most of the SFSO you'll be getting are from the second version. IMO, the asian version is quite good for a cheap price. At least the date font look better than the swiss second version to me. Only flaw is that it is non-AR and movement is going at 6bps instead of 8bps as in gen. The numerals "12, 6 and 9" look rounded on blue dial whereas it look flat for both black and silver dial. The numerals look flat on the gen. Hope the tips are useful
  10. Hi Lello, I need 1pc with black numerals on white background and 1pc with white numerals on balck background. Both to be fitted on A7750. I have been waiting for this for my PAM050 and PAM049. Thanks for making this happen. Let me know when I can pay you. Thanks
  11. @alant Hi from S'pore. Welcome aboard. PM me for local dealers info.
  12. Hi, The short minute hand, the incorrect crown with a outer ring and the etched text at the caseback tells you that it is the 4th gen. Due to different angle shot by the camera, some Omega logo on 4th gen appear "correct" without the feet. However, the actual one will have the feet just that it is not noticeable at a distance. unless you have a small wrist, otherwise, go for 45mm PO. Except for the wrong logo. Everything else is good. AR, serial number engraved at the back at 7 o'clock position, correct crown, long minute hand, fantastic bracelet, engraved text on caseback and movement is secured with steel not crappy plastic like in 4th gen. Hope this helps you.
  13. It is impossible for the rep factory to produce a 1:1 rep. The minor flaws are not easily spotted at all. It will take a "trained" eyes a long time to identify it as rep. There is a cheaper asian version without AR and wrong date font. But since you are asking for the final and the best.... Choose the swiss version with strong AR, correct date font and movement as it is really close to the gen specs. I think the SFSO should be named the best rep of the 2007. I totally agree with By-tor. Do some research. The SFSO swiss version is already at its best. Get while it is still available.
  14. Hi Craytronics, I tried to reply you but couldn't get thru. Anyway, this PAM01B is not from any of the dealer here. I got it from my trip to Shenzhen. I Think I paid USD190 to 200. Anyway, only one left and I was very lucky to find this very well made "old school" PAM0001. I was curious about how come the watch was displayed for a long time (according to the shop owner) and nobody grab it before me. Please read my HK and Shenzhen report for the hunt for good reps if you are interested. http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...amp;hl=shenzhen
  15. Pics removed. Trying to use a better camera
  16. Hi BKLM1234, Are you talking about GZ watch market at ZhanXi Road? I undertsnad that you've been there. Is it possible that you provide me a few tips exactly where to go (building name, level). It may be some years back for you to recall, please try. Regarding SZ, do you mean that Lowu has lesser chance to find a good rep? Thanks
  17. Hi All, I'll be going to Shenzhen soon. Inside this forum, I came across alot of mentioning about Lowu Commercial City and Luo Hu Shopping Centre. Can anyone please tell me if we are talking about the same place here or they are just different places. Anyone who had been there, please advise me a few tips of where to go (name of the place and which level) to look for good reps. I really hope I can find these good reps so that I can shae by putting up a posting when I'm back. Thanks alot.
  18. Hi, I recently received a PAM 036. I like the watch very much. However, I can see a blue tint on the crystal at some angle. Below are some question and Question 1 : Does a Genuine PAM 036 AR Coating show a blue tint? Although the blue tint gives an "expensive" look to the watch but I do not like it. Question 2 : I read from the forum and understand that the AR Coating can be done on 2 sides of the crystal. I think my one has it. How can I remove it? Do I need any chemical agent? Question 3 : If there is no solution to question 2, the last thing I hope to do is to replace the crystal. The problem is, what can I do to take out the crystal from the bezel or watch case? Any kind soul please share with me some step by step guide to do so. Thanks alot guys
