I've decided I'd like a new pam, I think the dark colour is more suitable to wear for work because perhaps it's a little less 'bling' than the others. (All of the following were in the running, and if I'm honest I can't shake them off 312, 320, 351) So I'm fairly new to this but... Excuse my ignorance, i'm a newb. Is there much difference between trusy's 312 'O' and PCs (Josh) 312 'L' V3. I note the lume is different but to my eye not a lot else. What am I missing?

Hi guys, I'm pretty much a noob so go easy. I've decided i'd like this watch .omegawatches.com/gents/seamaster/planet-ocean/29015182 Now, i've done my research, and it would appear that Josh maybe the person to buy from, as he has a good reputation and has an offer on the asian 4813 here. .1-pc8838.com/omse00258-planet-ocean-ssle-asian-4813-28800-p-9579.html However, he doesn't seem to sell the rubber strap with orange stiching. So is there anywhere trustworthy that i can get the watch and strap together, as good a rep as Josh's. Or should i source the strap elsewhere, if so will it have a comparable orange stiching as Josh's fascia numbers?? I also maybe interested in the plain black rubber strap. I guess what i'm asking is who has the best straps? Also, i've seen a few mention that they have to wind this movement. Is this the case with just the asian movements? If so how often? I'd prefer to buy a momentum powered movement i think, if the cost difference weren't huge... I've just started to research movements and realised just how much of a noob i sound, sorry!! Will UK customs be a major issue?

OK so i'm loving the Sinn U1. I suspect i may already know the answer but where is the absolute best rep of this watch from? I love the perfect clones black edition (0SI01009), but is it a real model? I can't find info or images of the exact gen anywhere?

Hi there guys. I've been perusing this forum for a few days now, and i must say it's brill... So on to my quandary. My crap grand carrera rep has just bitten the dust, and i'm looking for something to replace it with. Now i have my fancy weekend watch (Gen brown carrera day/date with silver strap.) That i love, and has the shiny, showy, fat side of things covered. I'm wondering what to get for work. I'm a self employed controls engineer, so considering electrics and metal don't go too well, i'd prefer rubber, or fabric strap. It also doesn't do too well (In the UK at least) to demonstrate that you are doing too well, so i'm thinking understated. What are your thoughts? I'd like it to be a rep, it's only going to get hard use. I'd also like it as easy as poss, ie no modding, no winding etc. Thanks in advance, Dan.
