Careful with the sourcing of the skin mate...try and source is from within Australia... otherwise you need a special license to get it... How about this--Audemars Piguet authorised dealer/ company can not get a gen strap! they are not licensed to import it apart from, when it comes on the watch as a single item!!! So if you bought a sparkling AP from one of the top jeweler/AD who is authorised to sell for over 20K, and after a week accidentally damage the leather strap..guess what you cant get a replacement!!

Oh rep strap is rubbish mate.. chuck it away. plz do urself a favor and order one from HKTAN straightaway for around 290 I think... coz it takes over a month to receive it ,no matter how much he says it only takes 8 days! Do make it a priority over the suits and the shirts.. believe me. That strap is GOLD!! look awesome

The bracelet looks shiny and matches the watch as a gen would match a gen watch... so its pretty good... I find it to be little light and I guess they could have done a better job there .. however as far as the visual appearance goes its very good. The watch itself feels gen right away as you may know ..but the feel of the bracelet is a bit light ..

Hahaha you are so right mate.. its probably the BBT that caught my attention! ( big bold and thick) and 100% on the white dial... also at the time it looked thinker than a Navimeter and hence the confusion. I will defo find out what it is

Thats true mate its all about personal preference..I got it on the steel bracelet and black dial... I have read a couple of reviews that grey look very nice... however coz I couldn't really see it in reality before I bought I found sticking with black to be safe. I love the thickness as you said probably if the face of the watch was a little broader it wud have been great .. which brings me to think if a super avenger is a better option !

HI guys need some help plz. I ordered a Skyland from Andrew which arrived today.. very good looking watch but way too loose for me.. is there a tutorial on how I could shorten the bracelet.

I think thats what has happened here..however I thing the new V3 is a brilliant watch..only issue is that it cost me $80 more!! and I need to know how to shorten the bracelet

I dont know if you have owned a safari rep before or seen one that your friend might have perhaps, but it feels pure CLASS and orgasmic as u unwrap it. Ah... then you proceed to glance at the strap!! thats when the dream is shattered ..lol I have a HKTAN strap coming in a few days (medium brown colour) that should be icing on the cake. Hi Dylan ..thanks for your reply.. those are some really nice watches good luck with them. ..as you can see I posted that on the 2nd Nov and couldn't wait.. so I bought a safari from Andrew. Keeps very good time until now. I din't know Francisco was back in the game of servicing.. last I heard was he was away... do you know approx how much he charges per service and also is a service absolutely imperative? I have found a local watch smith and he told me not to service the watch yet as it was running fine??

If I can just add... When I ordered V2 and received the QC pics ... I have taken from granted that obviously the watch is V2 all I need to do it check for any quality control defects etc.. little did I notice that the entire watch is actually different!

Thanks W, Well the thing is he sent me the QC pics and I OKed it however noticed it later that the typical "1"s on the bezel which make it distinguishable from V3 were not there! and also a few people commented on the picture put in the QC section of repgeek and they said it was V3 (I put the QC pics on only after I OKed them as its a condition of sale). Also the link on his website which I clicked to "buy" the watch said "ultimate V2" The dealer is a very trusted dealer and I have dealt with him before. He is probably in the top 2-3 TDs.

lol Well Wimpie .. its the watch you saw in the QC section and you even commented on it. Thing is I haven't received it yet. The TD says he has send exactly what I purchased from the website.. and on the website I definitely clicked on the 'Skyland Ultimate V2'. Well I have receipt from the site. I have a feeling I was quietly send whatever was in the stock!
