So.. I am finally starting to put the pieces together for my "perfect" 001B.

I am ordering the watch now with a SS bracelet but of course I want to be able to use straps with it as well so I am ordering some extra buckles...

Here is a question for your guys. How easy is it to change straps and buckles on the watch? Do you think it is a good idea for me to get 2-3 buckles (they aren't cheap) just to have them ready in my straps so that I have less work to change them, or is it easy enough to exchange the buckle every time between straps o that IS hould not worry about it? How do you guys manage this?

Also can someone post a pic of the correct buckle that I need for the 001B. I believe it is the 22mm polished Thumbnail Vendome buckle(according to one of the members that pmed me), but would like to see a pic so that I can show it to my dealer to avoid any confusion. Thanks.

In addition doesnt the size matter depending on the strap that I get? I guess the gen had 22mm but I doubt people would notice if I have a 24mm one?

Anyway what do you strap experts recommend. Im probably going to get 3 of them so I want to make sure I cover my bases with the straps. TIA.

Also anyone know if they plan to release a correct graphite color one? It supposed to have Graphite dial and graphite sub dials not black.

watch looks good. But I still love the Bentley GT. Why can't they just make a good Bentley GT with bold day/date font and have the inner bezel rotate as well? That would be perfect. Let's go dealers...

A friend just re-opened a once popular club, which hit hard times in the mid nineties. I am a silent partner in the deal (1/2 $). Anyway, it is his vision and so far (6 weeks in), the place is hot. The basic tenet of the place is steaks and naked sushi bar. Interesting combo. I've been around the forums for a couple of years, but rarely (if ever), do I post. Let me know when you are looking to have this NYC GTG, how many people are anticipated to show, and it can be held at the club. This way, you'll be able to get a lot, but not pay NYC prices.... Its a possibility and its available to you guys. Either way, I would like to make it to the GTG and get to put some faces with the names of people whose opinions & discussions I respect and enjoy!

Anyone know what the problem is with the smoothness of the seconds hand? Seems like a standard 7750 to me. I own a Bentley GT and the hand sweeps as smooth as silk (both chrono and seconds).

Im very dissapointed that they cant get the seconds hand to be "normal" with these Chopard reps.

Any chance of doing a review with some pics?

I have received mine from Joshua this morning,

watch is beautiful, ar coating is Ok but not great, lume is really good for a rep, but the reset of the chrono sucks, as well as the second hand of the chrono, it's moving like a vintage watch from the 50'.

the GMT hand is running ok for those who were worried about that.

Anyway, I have no regrets, it is really an excellent rep.

SQL_PL is common terminology when talking about car audio system. SQL represent a system that is built towards sound quality and not necessary loudness (usually a mix of both but sounds quality is favored over (Sound Pressure Level) or SPL).

I'm suire it is just some mis-understanding. SQL_PL posts here all the time, so Im sure this will get resolved.

R.T. I think it is a bit mis-leading on your part to post photoshopped images of the new rep. It might confuse newbies and some people... The tick mark over the 'e' is NOT an easy t hing to do. Yes you can put it over the 'e' but it is very difficult to make it look like it was printed there. Again dont compare apples to oranges. Compare non-photoshoped to non-phtoshopped.

sounds good. The chrono one is 42mm though while the GT XL is 44, how come? I like the way 44mm watches look on me and the simplicity of the GT is what got me in the first place, along with its size. But I am VERY unhappy about the stutterring seconds hand on the "ultimate." I wonder how this one will be.

Also ther eis no mention of double AR coat on this one as on the GT XL ultimate, so perhaps this isn't one of the "super" reps? Also is it really smaller then the GT XL?

Yes the gen also has this problem but supposedly it is not as pronounced, and furthermore not many have seen the gen so I am sure people will assume that their is either someting wrong with this watch or it is a fake...

Anyone sent theirs to The Zigmeister to fix the choppy hand yet? I know he has recieved one for servicing but mentioned that the hand was pretty smooth to begin with.

Damn it. I had no interest in this watch before. And just decided to brwo the "Other Brands Area" and WAM!

I really like it, but I have a feew questions before I go through with the purchase...

1) I think someone asked about this but how shiny are the polished areas of the bracelet? I havent seen the gen but I am sure it would have a "breitling" type of finish, but the rep apears to not have such a nice mirror finish to it as on the breitling reps. Of course it could be just the pics. Can anyone comment on this please?

2) Are we sure that there is a modder that would be able to put the tick mark above the 'e' (Flavor Flac where are you)? That seems like a dead giveaway to me. Thanks.

Im not too crazy about having scrolling text. It looks too cheap IMHO. Too early 90s if you know what I mean.
