  1. The worst part is, I now have this itch that won't go away, and I have a feeling I'm going to end up dropping more money real quick like here. At least my girlfriend thinks it looks good!
  2. http://i.imgur.com/Sky3i.jpg I'm just adding a link, because it's a big ass picture. Thanks for the input guys.
  3. I made a quickie video to show the movement.. maybe I'm wrong! Yea, the chronos don't work.. I being in a rush, just looked the watch over for any dings or imperfections, made sure the lever and screw worked, paid him and ran. The buttons only shift the chrono dials around. :| I'll try and get the caseback off with duct tape! That sounds like a fun little trick!
  4. Ahh dammit. I just got back from getting it, and NOW I see all these posts. C'est la vie. I paid under $100 for it.. it's a great looking watch, and it keeps time, that's good enough for now. I realize it's not the most accurate way to test it, but I started my iphones stopwatch when the second hand hit 12, and let it run for 10 minutes, it was pretty much spot on. Is there anyway to verify it's a quartz and not an automatic? The second hand sweeps fairly smoothly like I would've expected.. and I can 'wind' it and hear and feel mechanism to the winding action. Maybe I'll give this as a gift to my Dad or something for his upcoming birthday! Thanks for the input guys, sadly I was away from my pc and couldn't check it before I headed out, but live and learn! My next will probably be from a trusted vendor or the reptrade section here.
  5. It's actually a black face, just a terrible picture! Unfortunately, this dude doesn't know anything about the movement, other than 'it's an automatic'.. but the chronos work, so I'm assuming it's probably a 7750.
  6. Hey guys, I've been looking the Rep forums for awhile, and just haven't pulled the trigger on anything. I've been lusting after Luminors since I got here, and decided if I was going to start getting into Reps, my first would be a Panerai. Well, I found a local selling a brand new PAM025 with a croc strap for a screaming price, so I decided to jump on it! I'll be going to meet up with him later to check it out and make sure it looks and runs smooth, but from all I've seen so far it looks good! Anything I should look for specifically when I meet up with this dude to make sure I'm not buying a total piece of junk?
