Dispute? What is wrong with you people

You ordered a backordered watch.

When a product is backordered the exact date they will come back available is always subject to change.

If at any point you decided you could wait no longer, than why didn't you just request a refund becuase you do not want to wait any longer???

If a dealer refused a refund than that might be a different situation.

For those not paying attention and just blindly ordering, Noob factory production is way backed up.

Basically unless you pre-order it is next to impossible to get any of their new watches. They are producing less than they are selling right now.

My guess is this is why Josh and Andrew are bad mouthing them lately and puching other factory offerings as they don't wish to sell backordered watches and deal with the added headaches of customers not willing to wait.

Caseback and dial would be the only differences.

005 has a closed caseback and completely different dial withh sausage lume

111 has an open caseback with sandwich lume dial

Rest of case would be the same

Not sure if it is becuase of backorder issue or what but mostly when sold in like new condition they are still getting $250 or so on the 2nd hand market even though this is more than brand new MSRP

But I think brand new $230 - $280 seems to be the going rate.

The new one that most all of the dealers have I don't think is nearly as nice as the one Kurvasit made but as noted many times the Kuravsit one is not stitched very well.

One of these small tubs will last you forever (or at least 100 straps or so)

I have no doubt the modded V2's inner bezel will be lumed better in terms of application than these V3's

It is a rep after all, so anyone expecting the same glow intensity and longevity for the inner bezel as a hand applied aftermarket modded one is not being realistic.

We should know more detail about the lume application once these reach member's wrists.

Not sure why the confusion on the lume issue!!! Trying to clear this up.

Clearly there has been some dealers spreading what seems like false rumors about lume brand used but that has nothing to do with others are calling bad lume application on the prototype and that is just resulted in all sorts of screwed up posts here.

1.) Noob factory claims they now use genuine SL on any watches advertised as such, many, many months ago they did not.

Some dealers may debate this you can choose to believe who you want to believe. It seems those with an agenda are pushing this negative spin about the Noob factory.

2.) The prototype watch lume application from prototype to final result will not be improved on the V3. On the macro photos it is a little imperfect in terms of the even lit consistancy on the bezel. The dial itself looks perfect even in the macro photos. The gen inner bezel in similar photos does not look perfect to me either.

I find it similar to the IWC costeau models, those reps had no lume on the inner bezel, the gen was lumed but not perfect and looks very much like the V3 lume application.

Many members including myself had The Zigmeister relume their costeau which came out amazing, but in all honesty the end result was a more bright end result and even lit consistancy than the actual gen.

Along the same lines, I am sure some rep owners will send this V3 for The Zigmeister or Vac to relume the inner bezel and in the end their watch will be brighter and more even when lit consistancy than gen.

3.) If you are waiting for a real super lume version in a V4 you are confused.

Only the Noob factory has made the high quality reps of AP Roos and AP Divers,

If in theory a new factory got involved with better lume what are the odds they would get all of the other aspects right.

What you really want is a better Noob factory AP Diver that has a better applied lume, that may or way not ever come and has never been proposed, advertised or rumored.

Not to say it won't happen a few months down the road, especially if members complain after receiving their V3's but as of today this is.

Below is what I have become to believe to be true.

Noob factory made all of the newer AP ROO's high quality reps and is said to be the only factory with access to the seconds at 12 movements currently.

Noob factory made the V2 Diver based on the AP ROO they had already and high res. images.

Noob factory decided it was worth the investment in a genuine watch and machining to make the V2 truly a 1:1 and this is what is now being sold as a V3.

If you want to complain about the prototype and final version lume application, fine that is your right

If you want to claim Noob factory is not using genuine SL but some other formula or brand for lume, fine that is your right.

Just don't confuse the 2 arguments into 1 mixed messsage as they are seperate.

Though I thought he said the dealer did not offer assistance so I also see no reason to protect the dealer that made a very big mistake in this case

As far as location op has every right to keep that secret if he wants to.

He has already said that it is not s common country so it really is not relevant for other members

No doubt they are lazy and usually know less than the average customer when it comes to international options

I am not sure the dealers are really giving you their address and have any clue when and if the recipient gets it, repairs it and reships it back

There have been many stories of dealers giving similar haven't received it back replies and then weeks later the watch showing up at the op's door repaired

Have heard stories ranging from 3-6 months later, so it would not shock me if you get it back someday

Air mail registered to china would cost about $20 and provide tracking from the USA

Yes, but now expected to be approx. 1 week away.

Noob factory shut down for a week and in addition Angus mentioned one of the factories making the caseback was delayed. Shoudl now be soon though based on what I have read.

To clarify about the differences per Angus

the V1 and V2 were made based on the existing ROO rep parts and high res. photos only, the factory did not have a genuine Diver in their possession.

Many dealers called the ROO Divers 1:1 based on genuine watch dissected but per Angus this was the previous dissecion of the AP ROO chrono being referenced.

This V3 is actually the first AP ROO Diver to be repped from a genuine watch.

It is not really a v3 correcting previous flaws but a V1 attempt at a brand new watch.

Hopefully they will get it right the first time becuase otherwise it could end up having wierd other flaws that the V1 or V2 never had since this is not using any of the same parts.

Edge I honestly think you complicated the situation with your backup points and information

Your initial story about you being delivered a rep strap and all that didn't help of course, and you lost some credibility once your story changed

If you just left this as:

There is currently an ad for a rep strap being sold as genuine on eBay and you believe it to be said member and x is your proof, as you have stated you know the pictured strap is a rep and you know the seller is SQL due to PayPal linked emails and things of that nature

Photos, previous sales, lack of packaging, access to ap sources, prices, etc...

All of the other fluff diluted the main point, confused members and has not helped support your argument

In fact it only opened the door for people to accuse you and support SQL

I don't think SQL has responded to that acquisition, but I have said all I care to and since I am not a direct participation I am sure the mods and most members would prefers I stop posting in this thread

He has responded to many points but IMO has not stated if dgauto is him on eBay or not

Hopefully the mods can get a yes or no answer as to the current sales ad and make a decision accordingly based on that

On my hand I admire and respect that Freddy and the admin team want to get to the truth and are choosing an innocent until proven guilty attitude becuase the member has a long history here and was and/or is a valuable contributor.

On the other hand Freddy I hope you don't take this personally but your expressed views seem to differ from that of the forum guidelines.

You keep stating that he didn't scam anyone on RWG, that should not matter if the member is selling or has sold rep items as gens on another site, that is in directly violation of the forum guidelines here and he shoudl be banned immediately.

That really is the issue, is the email his that is linked to these sales that are showing rep items.

He should be banned for evening posting a sales ad, who cares what was delivered, if a rep item is shown as gen on a gen forum for sale as genuine that should be an instant banning, case closed.

It cannot be that hard to determine if the email linked to the sales photos is his.

Anything else is off topic and really not relevant.

I apologize for speaking out of turn and being a drama queen on this issue but it really seems like the one question is all that matters.

I hope the outcome is it is not his email or has not been successfully linked to this member, we all would feel much better if that is the outcome (except maybe for Edge, I dunno know)

I disagree that most ad's would know a rep rubber strap from a gen one in most cases

It's not they are being asked to authenticate and compare to genuine

Plus forum gen owners I suspect do change their own straps, general public no but if you care enough to belong to a forum you have more than average interest

The rep ap rubber strap in the ad I saw is a rep so who's ad is it and does it direct to an email used by the SQL ; anything else is off topic
