I think we are being conned .. the final version on Angus site and over at rg .. bezel number are not the same as sample pic!!(fat) they are the same size as v3 thin! ...plus no lower bezel brushed edge .. and same shitty wood pattern ... incorrect yellow no ti parts !! bad Cyclops A.R... 1 step forward .. and 10 back !! . not even a fc breakthrough looks nothing like fc they were better of using plastic would have looked way better !!

..totally .....................Sucks!!

Honestly what a big let down, entirely different from the proto pics, that 'wood grain ' carbon is horrendous

To those who own or have seen forged carbon up close and in person, don't waste your time with this.. Will be a huge let down

For a while I know these pieces were being delivered with the same crack at the 10 marker on the ceramic bezel... A bunch of people received them, I bought it second hand and couldn't ever get it resolved

I haven't really wore the piece due to this, even though it's hard to see it really bugged me!

What can I do? Who can I send it to , for a new one? I'd like to start wearing it

Jlc Ewc hands down... The brand is just amazing, fit and finish, movement and heritage! I have one amongst two other jlc's. always accurate and wear well.. I actually may sell my Ewc soon contact me, fully complete box papers and extra gator strap (and of course rubber) tang buckle no deploy

I like it! Nice strap as well! I already read on the boards a post that you had this in the works, after seeing it I kind alike it.

 

One thing I notice is that the bezel isn't placed correctly, the brushes are not aligned to the brushes on the case, it needs a turn

The trick is the crown bro. 

Agreed... The real tell is the crown tube that is too long, making a gap between crown and the case!!!

Well, if you are unhappy with the inaccuracies you can man-up and buy the gen for $40k or pick-up a last generation gen dial available on the bay for $2k and build a franken for $5k. Personally I do think it is a big improvement. The last dial was so wrong.

How was the last grey dial so wrong?!?

I actually would love a genuine example, however I chose the forged carbon instead

BTW guy's, I think there was a change in the dials... This new one is a grey/tobacco'ish color now in person.. The first one I saw that AP got was a black, and in that pic too, however they seemed to have changed the production dials or something!

I'd say go with the latest DSN edition!
