  1. VERY nice Brother, What's "not" to love about this. It's a BEAUTY.
  2. I just got lucky with a vendor that an AD buddy of mine suggested and I wanted to share.....
  3. I like to wear mine snug so I put in on an Everest EH-1S and love it
  4. Great looking watch all the same Brother
  5. Great information here. Thanks for sharings.
  6. Sweet. That correct DWO looks very good. But you already have too many watches and builds.......so you should just send me the holed 3135 case
  7. Sorta off the beatin path here but who/what is watchNY and DW ?? Links ???
  8. Send it to MD2020 before you do anything else my friend. It'll likely be much faster and alot cheaper. I'll be using Mike real soon for a few thing
  9. Sweet. There was something about those tiny little eta 2678 (ladies watch) movements I really liked (silent rotor).
  10. GREAT looking Sub Brother. I love the Flat 4 insert A few side profile shots of the bezel would better help identify it. As STEEL said if the insert had to be sanded, shaved or modded in any way it's not a gen bezel ring. Gen inserts fit the WM9 v3 and TC v4 very well (at least they have on the ones I've owned) but even then they needed some help from a crystal press on the TC v4's. If the watch came to that way and there was no mention of a gen bezel assembly it's likely not a gen assembly. Nice used gen assemblies (without the insert) in good to excellent condition tend to run about 450.00 + these days. I've got 3 or 4 of them for the 16800 and the 16610's and I can't see myself installing one and failing to mention it....the price of the watch when sold would reflect that upgrade.
  11. I agree with what's been said. The TC v3 bezel ring actually looks much closer to the coined edge scallops of the 16800 than to a 16610. Insert for your era of build.....gen Flat 4 with tritium pearl is the only way to go.
  12. Wow. Very nice indeed. Well done Brother.
  13. SUH-WEEEEET. Now it's better understand why after seeing this build I simply "had" to have one. Thanks again for the inspriation to build one and the very helpful input before, during and after.
  14. No problem my Brother.....I've been where you're at more than once....I'm sure we all have at some point. And it can get downright dis-heartening and discouraging at times. I've always gotten support when in need and am more than happy to lend a hand if I'm able. That TC LV is a Beautiful watch and deserves to be straightened out. I'm glad to hear it's heading in the direction of correction. Do keep us posted on the outcome....I'm rather curious myself.
  15. +1 And tight is better that loose on rep/aftermarket parts What case are you using that didn't require any shaving to the SEL's to fit ?
  16. That's a no brainer Rob. FIRST you or Mitch can email me on where to find that same 93150 and end pieces. (dammit I sold both pairs of gen 593 ends I had) That's a very nice end link fit.....I found on my 16800 the TC v2 SEL fit it like a gen so I went with it. I've got a couple TC v3 Bracelets too but they'll need to be honed down a bit....a tad too wide is better than a tad to narrow. Then you need to go after that MkII dial....it's a Beauty if you're wanting the matte finish non WG ringed markers. But you've got Fidhle, Ephry and Mitch (and JMB...nice) "along for the ride" so no doubt it's gonna go in the right direction Look up the builds that "redwatch" did...it was his 16800 that inspired me.....and it's become my all time "time" favorite. ( I love my 16800 so much I'm in the process of doing the exact same building of a Black/Gold 16803)
  17. That's unique Brother but I like it. Which build is that one and what date wheel is in it ??
  18. automatico...much thanks Brother. And I greatly appreciate "all" the response and very useful info provided here. To be honost this was far more info that I'd hope to receive. No doubt about it it's the members here that make this community and hobby so enjoyable and rewarding. ....now comes the decision making time. I'll gratefully ingest all this and decide which direction best suits my goal (and my budget) One thing can be certain...this one won't be getting a gen mvt. I love everything about the looks of the 1655 Exp.II with the exception of the tall, acrylic crystal. And I'm not sure I'd like the tall crystal profile even with a sapphire. I suppose the true, die-hard , loyal and faithful 1655 lovers and enthusiasts among us will consider casting me through the gates of hell for asking this................................ but how would a 1655 build look with eta mvt.2836-2 GMT SL'd dial/ hands, open 6 and 9 date (of course) standard gen 2.0mm, 1.8mm or 1.8mm AR'd version sapphire....................?? gen 24-5330 tube an 24-603 crown
