i'm getting tired of this rep game. at first it was interesting and fun to buy reps, reading stuff about them, but not so much anymore. i have a couple watches that just gather dust. anyone else starting to feel this way?

i'm in socal right now but my home is in the bay area. am i the youngest here? i'm sure there are some younger. i'm 20.

i have a clasp that was very loose. not sure what these clasps are called, but this worked like a charm.

just get pliers/wrench/hands and squeeze at the arrows. the closer to the hole the better. hopefully the clasp won't be loose anymore.

i have a 050 myself and it's great.

don't the gens have a single clasp? and in this picture it looks like the unlatch button is on the side towards hands. mine is towards my shoulder. should it be facing my hand?

Yes. You're right. The gen subdials also overlap them, but only the longer (minute) tick marks.

Does anyone know a better Rep of the Navitimer than Homer's? To make it clear: I do not.

this watch was originally from eddie and he said he'll try to get me a new guard. i really he can get me one.

how would i replace the lever? it seems to be a pin held in by pressure. would i have to replace the whole guard?

sounds like it should be replaced. I'd snap some pics and email them to the dealer. If you are an anal retentive like me, adam-co on ebay sells OEM 40mm guards once in a while. 200 smackeroons though. I remember reading that someone got one of these to fit his 50 w/ a mnimal mods.

i didn't get it from a dealer. i got it from someone on this forum.

i have a pam 050. love it. there's only 3 things that's wrong with it.

1. hands are kind of rough around the edges but i don't want to open it up and replace them

2. clasp shows a little gap (can't really do anything about it).

3. lever is ugly. it's kind of narror at one end and not at the other so there's a nice little gap.

where/how/from who can i get this fixed?
