  1. Well, it says "N" on the caseback, could that be a tell?
  2. As long as you bubblewrap the s€&@ out of it and put it in a standard carton box I'd say you're fine regardless courier. Add the small extra fee for tracked shipping.
  3. Excellent choice for a first rep! The 3717 is one of the best out there. Only thing you could consider for the future might be a relume job and a very light matte coating on the dial. Enjoy the watch and welcome to RWG! Har du nån fråga är det bara att skicka PM
  4. Most important ones are a Taka/Leo 7750 DW and a better dial (old EL or gen). Have been scanning around for the latter for several months now myself... Btw, the caseback on the one I got from Reg a while back lacked model/year and serial engraved, do share if yours come the same way.
  5. Rivet 3646:
  6. What Rolex was it? Sure our TDs have it if it's legit.
  7. I've bought a strap from lunarglide. Nice guy, shipment was fast. Chatted once afterwards too.
  8. Very impressive work Rolexman, it's apparent that you're one of the most knowledgeable members around this forum! Actually went through the same process of buying what I thought was a 7734 donor watch for a Montecarlo, but ending up keeping the watch. Would love for the movement to be in same condition as yours though...
  9. This sounds wonderful Mark! Would love some gen like AR on my IWC 3714...
  10. That's a great looking dial! Not cheap though...
  11. What raywj said... You need to decide if you want that blue hue on the crystal as per gen or the amazing disappearing effect mentioned. My humble opinion is that the dial very well replicated on the 5002 and that it's over the top to go franken on this (although reports have mentioned this to be a fairly easy swap). You can check out this old thread for comparison shots and see if your eyes are better than mine http://www.rwg.cc/topic/114659-bp-5002-review/ Have you tried the 5002 on btw, e.g at an ADs? It's a big one and very special, not everyone end of liking it on the wrist. If not, I'd suggest you getting the rep from e.g Trusty and then deciding to move on with mods... Perhaps a EU modder will also then surface, I would recommend you to gather up some courage and ship overseas to your mentioned guys - have (sofar) never had any concerns with that!
  12. Looks stunning! Enjoy mate
  13. You have one heck of a watch there - stunning! JV looks great, enjoy
  14. Wotancraft compass assault type A:
  15. Scan the bay for eta 7750 or look at sites like Cousins UK, Ofrei or Esslinger. Have no idea on amount of work needed, i.e if seconds pinions are of same size etc...
  16. What source is that, Wotancraft?
  17. Evening in Montenegro:
  18. Heck Z - real coincidence! Another Swede here just arrived in Croatia (Babin Kuk, outside of Dubrovnik), feels quite OK:
  19. And by any position, you mean that you're able to pull the crown out after releasing the crownguard but that nothing happens?
  20. Re 47 mm Pams, the short answer is to just go out and get a Noob 127 (if you can find one in stock!). Superb quality, the 217 is another option from same maker. Other 47 mm to check out (with lower quality) are 203, 306, 372 (luminors), 187, 193, 194, 305, 382 (submersibles) or 232, 249, 294, 309, 322, 339, 349, 373, 376, 379, 425 (radiomirs). Good luck with the search mate, can also advice on the IWC Big pilots (5002 or 5004), bought one a couple of months ago and love it!
  21. That a 7734? Nice looking vintage gem!
  22. Cool watch! Looks kinda FMish. Subscribing thread
  23. Looks fantastic Chiman! That case is definitely a step up from DSN and the matte varnish (?) really kicks off the dial, great work.
  24. +1! Up with that beauty on public display
