I could very well be the youngest person here, and I have had a few watches, most were cheap and light, so if I ended up without a watch it wasn't a big change, then I learned about reps and rep forums (I didn't dare Just find a site and spend money, which probably would have been a waste of money), and I had a planet ocean, then I sold it and it kinda feels weird going from a heavy watch to no watch. Thankfully though I have a replacement on the way.

Would using a watch winder make it less likely to damage or break an automatic watches movement?
-
it isn't an option offered by omega, but its something one could do/have done with the real thing and real parts, so its not really a fantasy watch or anything.

I've always sorta liked the orange bezel planet ocean, but with the colored numbers (red/orange or w/e), it Just seemed like too much, but then I found http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/orange-bezel-white-numbers-511884.html and I kinda like the orange bezel with white numbers idea, seems like Just the right kind of pop and will be the next rep I get.

how can you be sure they won't come out with a new batch of super rep sosf's? Also what differences might there be between a super rep sosf, and an excellent sosf.
-
I have yet seen nobody have any problems with Mary.
-
I'm about to get one from Mary (watch-international) as she now has them available with Swiss or Asian eta, and while there are no pics yet, I'm sure it will be a good rep, what are some things that make it a super rep?
-
On my list is a 45mm planet ocean, 2 subs (an lv and a shark, if one can comfortably wear a 45mm planet ocean, or a sub, which I think I could as I had smaller lighter watches that were comfortable (really cheap watches I had before I got into reps BTW) and when I had a 45mm planet ocean it was comfortable), an sosf, a seawolf, and maybe a dssd. In no particular order BTW ( though right now I'm getting either an sosf, or a planet ocean from Mary, depending on if the sosf comes with an ss bracelet (waiting on details, Mary says she doesn't have the sosf in hand yet)). BTW reasoning is planet ocean and subs have nice color options, sosf and seawolf look nice, but unfortunately aren't available most of the time, and dssd looks nice, but again, not sure I want one yet.

I would get whichever one could have a supply issue at some point, but since the seawolf , and AFAIK the sosf aren't available (sosf AFAIK is only available with 21j while seawolf was only available with "Swiss" eta) I find myself having to choose between other reps I want, which means basically choosing between a planet ocean, a submariner, or maybe a dssd (not sure if I want one). I've had a 45.5 mm planet ocean before, so naturally I'm leaning towards replacing it (though an orange bezel white number one (not an official version of the gen, but can be done by getting a black and white planet ocean and changing the bezel insert to the orange one, and there are a few people that have done so with the gen and I dig the look) mine was black and white) since I liked it a lot, but needed some money at the time, so I sold it since I knew I could always get another one. And I also don't know what a Rolex sub/dssd would feel like (especially being the rolexes are in smaller sizes) and there's the issue of wokky rehaut unless you get a version without rehaut, and idk if a decent rep could do it or if the small things would slightly upset me in the slightest way, especially since it seems Rolex reps have more things that can go wrong, and in the end I might Just wanna get a modded sub/dssd from BK . Can one that can comfortably wear a 45.5 mm planet ocean also comfortably wear a sub/dssd anyways. Really long post, I know.

Steinhart Watches - What's your Opinion of them?
tyrantblade replied to sgtguk's topic in General Discussion
They look nice, never had one though. -
Yuki Case 1675 opinions, looks like a submanriner case
tyrantblade replied to cib0rgman's topic in General Discussion
It's close, but the teeth and crown/crown guards are different and the bezel insert looks like a gmt master/explorer 2 thing -
mary (watch-international) has a new paypal?
tyrantblade replied to tyrantblade's topic in General Discussion
Idk why she would ever get removed from being a TD, I've done business with her and everything was great. -
Just wanna know that its not Just me and that I'm not playing somebody's game (got a text message claiming something about the iPhone 5 and I think it tried to redirect to a porn site, and those kinda sites seem to be filled with viruses. (Can the internet on a phone even get a virus?)).

Your thoughts on Tag Heuer as a Brand?
tyrantblade replied to paneraiguy's topic in General Discussion
I personally don't like tag, its Just not for me. -
why do omega planet ocean reps have 1 or no serial number?
tyrantblade replied to tyrantblade's topic in General Discussion
I had a 45.5 planet ocean with the serial number on it. -
The designs, I like, but they more or less seem like all they do is steal Rolex designs, and even the cheaper ones will be somewhere around 2000-3000 pounds (according to a blog) , and their more expensive ones will be a lot more than that. I'm wondering if they will even make it, especially being that they want a lot for their watches, especially considering how they Just seem to have Just appeared out of nowhere late last year. They have a website (though idk what it is, nor can I read it as its in what I believe is Italian) and a Facebook if you wanna have a look at their designs. http://m.facebook.com/pages/Sea-God/111962928839555?id=111962928839555&_rdr#!/photo.php?fbid=264712953564551&id=111962928839555&set=a.264712913564555.57067.111962928839555&__user=100001130566395 one of their designs on their Facebook.

best rolex sub reps besides BK's modded subs?
tyrantblade replied to tyrantblade's topic in General Discussion
Do genuine subs exist without the rehaut engraving? And does it make any noticeable difference whether the bezel is ss or ceramic besides that ceramic is a tougher material?
