That movement is a Seagull ST-18. It is a copy of the ETA 2892, and is (unofficially) reported as being the result of a terminated agreement to build the 2892 in China under license.

I went with this watch to Rolex service(he is a good friend)in Greece,and he toled me that is one of the best rep he have ever seen...But he is saying that this eta 2892 is made and assembled in china..he is not 100% sure but looking at one Cartier original movement he saw some flaws!I dont know what do you think ?

this rep dial is same as oem STAMPERED CARBON AND NOT CARBON DIAL your tissot as not the same dial....

your tissot is a carbon dial

and you can take a pic in a drk room or light room you will alway see the patern of the stampered dial...

so the photo you see on josh site is maybe the ss model with the RG bezel and hand just to make different from angus that it.

but for sure the good model will be available from josh and andrew that it my friend.

I'm not negative about josh&andrew, I'm just stating TWO facts:

1. On their pictures, the Big Bang Istanbul does NOT have a carbon fibre dial (do you even know what carbon fibre is? probably not!)

2. On their pictures, the Big Bang Istanbul has GOLD hands which are INACCURATE; this has been confirmed by the CEO (do you know what a CEO is?) of HUBLOT

That's what I'm saying. And yet you start running around saying what we all say is wrong because you found some photo of a PROTOTYPE. Just pay attention to what we tell you and its all good! And as for the watch my opinion is that it will get better and better,but its still expensive,no matter if it is 1/1 rep,some people i try to fool the all see that the movement was not an original 7750 so this is sad,other also saw that there are stickers on the movement,so for me its still a rep that can do better that that!Peace to all!

This was discussed to death. Silver hands are accurate and were confirmed by the Hublot CEO I think.

Im not sure..but if you surf in the site(Hublot) there is no gold dials silver hands..

it will if the tolorances are loose enough. let me say it like this, if the alternator bearings or the wheel bearings start sounding like that on your car i would fix it if i were you. if you can hear a bearing grinding when it spins it is junk.

as i can see you dont know the story of Original Val7750 and all of the tests and head to head comparison to other chrono movements...and also i can say you have never measured the weight of the rotor...and a lot more...so its not so good to say a movement part of 7750 "junk" see in the net some technical details of the 7750 and you will find out why its still the most reliable movement compared even to the great El primero that i also have in my collection...My regards!
