What glue did you use? I've read a few posts, but I'm getting lazy and don't want to go to the hardware store, so I'm thinking I may just do some careful superglue-ing

Option #3 it is!!! Today at lunch I drove down to ofrei... Yes I am lucky, their warehouse is about a 10 minute drive from my work, so no shipping! The place is a sight to see. I could have never imagined so many watch parts, tools, and jewelry in packed into one big room. People running around everywhere filling orders, it was crazy. In any case, I picked up another bezel insert from them in the interest of education. Here's what it looks like, this is not glued in, just balancing on top. Pearl seems good to me, and it fits (with a little bit of work... look below) It was a little too large when I got it, so I had to grind the outer edge a bit... My method (flame away if you feel the need... I'm a noob) was to attach the bezel to the end of my drill with a little bit of silly putty. Then I used a diamond stone (used for deburring ski edges) to take it down ever so slightly while the drill was running. This takes forever, but leaves a edge with no burrs. Here's a comparison of the 3... all pics are in this order... 1. $15 Ebay Insert 2. Original from Trusty 3. Insert from Ofrei ($35) Notice the difference in the shape of the 4... Option #3 could be... get a completely new insert??

Just got a cheap bezel insert off of ebay. Was primarily getting it to replace the pearl on my current bezel insert, but before I do anything drastic I wanted to compare the 2. What do you think? #1, #2, or #2 with pearl from #1, what looks best? #1 Had to modify it a bit to get it to fit, I think it looks better, but it doesn't reach the edges of the bezel unfortunately. Pearl looks a lot better though. #2 The original... fits the bezel better Both of them side by side.

Great idea... I was planning to get a cheapo quad off ebay, but was worried about the noise because it would be in my bedroom at night. The timer idea is great... only let it run during the day. I like it.

Good point there... He also tends to draw a ton of fouls if you shut him down, so you'll get burned at the end of the game. My bracket may say UCLA, but I'll be there on Thursday, and will be yelling for the Zags.

Seattle native here.... GO DAWGS... we need redemption for the heartbreaking 1998 sweet 16 loss to UCONN. The Zags/UCLA matchup on Thursday is a big one as well. I like UCLA, they finished the PAC-10 strong and the Zags are questionable when you can shut down Morrison. Plus the zags don't have their cinderella magic anymore. BC is tough and should have beat Duke in the ACC championship, but I think Villanova could be the strongest team in the tourney. finally, out of Atlanta, I see duke being upset at some point... Expecting to see another couple of strong performances out of Texas...

My Sub gets the most attention of my reps, but not a ton, PAM has only been noticed a few times, but it gets great compliments. If you can believe it, the most attention I get from a watch by far is from a Diesel watch I got as a gift a while back. Most of the Girls I am around are in the 25-30 range and don't seem to know much about watches, but may recognize Rolex because their dad has one. Here's the Diesel

Looks like the He Valve might be low again, but it's tough to tell at that angle. Also, it looks like this one is missing the Planet Ocean engraving on the clasp. In addition to this, one thing that keeps showing up on all of these is the bezel cut, looks more like a Rolex than the PO (look at the shape of the teeth). Here's a comparison to see it better. Even with all of these issues, I think I will still get one. I love the 45mm size, and Andrew always provides great service.
