I can post a real crappy picture, don't have a digital camera other than what is on my phone. This one is a Taikonaut alligator strap. Also a pic of the V strap (not on watch).

I have the same watch, when I wear it I usually have it on V's Ferrari car seat strap. But it isn't as easy to find the 'right' strap for those white dial pams.

At least there is education on the Breitling board to help people from being ripped off, and showing what to look out for in the reps. This is likely to be one of those super reps that people will not realise they have a rep it is that good, and it is only through places like that and us that people will know they are not gens. And like Dave and Dani, were it not for the rep boards I would not likely be looking at getting a gen breitling. I would have bought a Tag and been done with it. So as much as the watch manufacturers might like to say that reps hurt their business, there are numerous people around who get the rep, then want the gen.

At least there was the courtesy to say someone else has sent payment, rather than find out tomorrow after paying that it has already gone!

One word. Yikes! Note the serial too, C000/500. So it was produced before the first one even!

I think even 1 is more than you should possess, if you like you can pop around to my place and I will ease you out of the addiction you have encountered by taking them off your hands. To make the rehab process easier on you, you could have limited visiting rights for a few weeks too if need be.

See I would tend to think it would have to be a much higher number - or we are getting a lot more exclusive product than the original, right? I mean, the fiddy as an example, they make just under 2,000 units a year of the gen, selling for $25,000 a piece; but our reps, even the super reps, you will pick up for under $500 for it. For a piece that has maybe 1,000 units produced a year? Sure, QC and the rest isn't as good, but it just doesn't make sense to be producing such low numbers. Especially when they are easily accessible, unlike the much more expensive gen.

I don't have strips lugs as of yet, but +1 all the same in case it does happen!

I don't even want to know what their low end restaurants are then...

The one that annoys me is when people say what they are doing 'on the weekend'. You do things on boats, on the couch, you are not sitting on top of a time - you do things during the weekend people!

Just to add a comment to get lost in amongst all the other pages here, seeing how RG handled the issue leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I had started going over there a bit lately, but this just confirms why I had not been visiting much. The censorship, and the members responses over there just illustrate it is not a good place to go. Good luck to bad rubbish.

Thanks for that Spy, and I look forward to the review! Yes, the length will likely be a big determining factor, I know the fatter straps do wear shorter as it were, but I am still only wearing the typical 120/70 odd length as it is.

I agree, stop by the cosmetics section of Kmart and get a quartz watch for $10 too, and a years warranty comes with that too. Should be too hard on a $600 watch you would think.

Hi all, I have been looking closely at the strap culture gator straps, which look quite nice. Just wondering if anyone has one, and what the impressions are, and also length - they are quite long, although they are 5mm thick, so does it wear shorter than the thinner straps? Don't want to get one only to discover it doesn't fit! I notice a few people trying to resell them over at 'risti, trying to make a profit on the better looking ones, which would say that they are sought after. Anyway, any thoughts, or pointers as to where else to look for a real rugged gator strap? I already have a taikonaut croc, but it is very soft, not rugged at all.
