Gives the ability to have 2 different sim cards in the phone at the same time, hence having 2 different numbers using the same phone rather than having to carry 2 phones for those of us that have 2 numbers - I got a samsung duo a few months ago because I was buying a new business that had existing customers calling the old number, but have my own number too. So rather than carrying 2 phones, got the one that takes 2 sims, and by now hopefully all the old people are using my new number... plus it gives the ability to use 2 different networks. There are issues, such as if you are on a call on one line it will go to voicemail on the other, and with my phone at least if you want to change the primary sim you need to reboot the phone, but they are a good idea in the right situation. Of course, I could have always used call diversion instead...

Have just seen the QOS PO at the local AD, it was in the display window. Must say the lighting didn't flatter the watch any, it looked like the crystal could use a good AR job. Was very hard to see the etching of QOS on the dial. And for some reason it just looked bigger than the regular version. But having now seen it in person, it was a bit disappointing to be honest, not as good as I had hoped. Oh well, can't like 'em all.

Best idea when you see those ones is to steer clear, the subdials like that are for the day of the week - only done on the cheaper reps that use a cheap movement, not done in the gen.

They never sent me a watch, but then I never sent them any money. No big deal either And to think, when I saw the title xxxwatches I thought it was another girls, girls girls thread with the pictures on the watches. Oh well, time to keep searching.

So good thing you had not been drinking then, you might have woken in the morning feeling like you did something bad last night, then finding it strapped to your wrist But I must say, I like the dial on this one - as has been mentioned, swap the crystal out for a regular one, and it is a pretty nice limited edition PO. What would actually be even better I must say is that there is no gun on the seconds hand, so swap the crystal out and you don't have anything to show that it is a Bond edition watch, unlike the previous ones that do have a 007 on the seconds hand.

Looks good, especially for the price, but the engraving on the back - 100m/1000f? Doesn't sound quite right.

D4M (I think) posted over at RWI about the movement in V2 being suspect, there seem to have been a lot of issues with it. Whether it is a case of a bad batch of movements I don't know, although I think someone mentioned they thought the caseback was too tight against the movement. In any event I don't have one to know anything firsthand. This one looks pretty nice, but I would also say it is too pricey for me right now, especially with the exchange rate as it is, again like so many others around.

I too would echo this sentiment - go with the best to start with, or the cheapo to get a feel of it, and if you do, you will end up getting the DSN one in the end anyway. Whether to go with the g or h series - the G has the decorated bridges on the movement but the H does not. DSN straps tend to be better than the regular rep ones, but you will still want a new one pretty fast.

This comes from someone who has not really used a mac in a good 7 years, when I was at high school all they ran were apples, and I never really liked them then (early 90's) Had to use both Macs and PC's for courses at university, and as much as I wanted to try to like them, still couldn't. They may technically be better than the PC's, but from all the using them over the years I am going to have to stick to the PC's.
