  1. How exactly do I get in touch with pbdad? Being the hard-headed fool that I am, I like to try stuff like this myself, but might be out of my depth somewhat. At the very least, I think I'd like someone to put some decent lume on a rep for me.
  2. Thanks for the advice I have to admit, I love my steel bracelets, though. I used to do a lot of scale modelling and I was pretty good at faking naturalistic weathering. I might even be able to make it look like there's real dirt and dust stuck in the strap using pigment powders... Definately going to look into this. I looked up some pics of the real double-red SD, it seems to be a very accurate replica for the money. Until next month, I'm going to try and learn as much as I can about weathering/ageing reps and then make my final decision.
  3. Central London. Awesome, thanks. What would I use for a case? I don't believe Tudor watches had crown guards like Rolex's, unless I'm horribly mistaken... Also, my dream is to own a real PVD Rolex. I think they're very unique and understated.
  4. I googled it - and that's its real name. Mind=annihilated. What possessed them to create such a monstrosity?
  5. Interesting stuff. I've been a regular gym member for 2 years - the first year was spent dropping from 300lbs to a somewhat more skinny 160lbs. This year (the last 8 months) I bulked for 4 months and I'm now cutting. 195lbs at about 15-16% bodyfat, aiming for 8% in the near future. The realization's definitely dawning on me that to get to the size I want to be it's either: a)10 years natural training, gym twice a day, no life b)Needle up the [censored], get to look good and take care of my degree/job/family The other thing is - I'm going to Japan for a year's exchange this time next year. This is going to sound selfish, awful, shallow, etc - but as you may have guessed from the '300lbs' part, it's only in the last 12 months I've been anything close to passably attractive. I actually had to have my man-boobs surgically removed as they'd become girl-boobs - I was seriously considering doing a couple of cycles of test-e/tren/dbol with the appropriate PCT, then leaning off with clen to get huge and ripped for my time abroad. I want to enjoy what's left of my youth and make up for lost time. Does this make me a bad person?
  6. http://www.kingshowbox.com/goods.php?id=3620 Kind of fell in love with this. I was wondering if anyone here has one and how it compares to a gen. I really like the idea of a rep vintage, I imagine most people would assume a 2011 Rolex rep on my wrist was a fake due to me being a student, whereas a vintage watch could be a family hand-me-down. However, despite the fact that it's supposed to be an old watch, it looks pretty factory-fresh. Are there any threads/guides to weathering and ageing a rep vintage watch? Thanks guys
  7. That's by far the ugliest Rolex I've ever seen. Please tell me they didn't make this themselves...
  8. It would be nice to get some attention from the opposite sex. 6 days a week in the gym, hours spent on personal grooming - nothing Anyway, I discovered last night that that plastic Ice Watch does actually have lume on the hands and dial. It's pretty weak...
  9. Does indeed seem to be. Going to spend some time lurking and hopefully not making an ass of myself working out how to piece together a nice 'vintage' Rolex or Tudor... Ha, I used to be a huge drinker, but after some bad experiences with absinthe and Mary Jane, I decided to go teetotal. Truth be told I think I was pretty much an alcoholic I can get behind the cigar idea, however. Need something to blow smoke in rich London kid's faces with. Thanks for the warm welcome to the board, guys
  10. Thank you! I already have found myself spending a few hours here. I really, really like the look of some of the replica vintage watches. I'll probably invest in my first replica this time next month when I have a fresh batch of student loan (I'm a pretty boring student - I don't drink or smoke, so I usually have quite a bit of spare cash floating around)...
  11. I got bored yesterday afternoon and read up on the history of fake Swiss watches. The next thing I knew, I was signing up for an account with this forum... I'm a student from England, about to enter the second year of my degree. I like nice things but can't necessarily afford them, currently this: is my default wristwatch. Urgh. Brb, using search function to find out if anyone makes replica Tudor Submariners.
