  1. There seems to be a small screw missing too, near the 2 o'clock position when viewing the picture. Any chance that it's rattling in the movement? Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  2. Very nice looking. I love the darker and weathered finish. This is no longer a "daylight". It's a "duskshadow" now. Sent from Mars using tapatalk

  4. That is most likely the rotor washer. If so, I would not recommend sending it back..send it to a watchsmith and its an easy fix. Get the watch serviced meanwhile.
  5. First and foremost, I am assuming you mean HUBLOT, not Sublet, lol. Second, the Hublot crown default position is the winding position, it does not "screw in" or lock. Next, give the watch a more vigorous swirl, this may free the rotor, looks like its an issue of a stuck rotor. You could otherwise open up the caseback, assuming that you have the tool (a common screwdriver) and the skills (to turn the mentioned screwdriver). See if the rotor spins freely after caseback is removed. If not, let us know again..
  6. I think that is self-explanatory and if you read the dealer sites, you would understand that for the same rep model, there could be several editions or iterations. Take note though that the concept of "best edition" could be superceded by the next "best edition" and so on.
  7. The roo deployants, be it jf or noob, are 18mm. The straps on these 2014 models are 20mm at the buckle end and meant to be used with the 20mm tang buckle. The deployants would not fit. Please show us otherwise if they do, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  8. I believe you. Your experience with Toro sounds bad and communication from TDs sometimes leave a lot to be desired. To be honest I have, like others here, read a lot about purchase experiences with him lately and it raises questions. I personally never bought from Toro so I cannot share any personal experience, but what had transpired between you and him certainly is a learning experience and reference for the rest of us. 9. Lets not bash Toro unless he is proven guilty by established facts. I understand that the OP had a negative experience with Toro, and that it may or may not have been sorted out in the end. It is easy to either jump in to bash Toro or defend him based on personal experiences, thereby creating a schism here that could escalate unnecessarily. Can mods please look into this matter please to prevent unmitigated flaming? We just got over the kingfrog saga.. lets not make this into another one.
  10. Welcome to RWG and AP territory! Good taste! I see that you have been introduced to a myriad of divers by my friends above. I tend to agree with them, divers are a good choice for beginners. Also, you might wish to take a look at the 2014 Black themes, it matches all your criterias. I did a review on the 2014 black themes by JF in this section. You can search for it. Actually, Noob and JF are the only quality makers of the ROO reps currently, and subtle differences exist between Noob and JF versions of the same watch, particularly in the date font, case shape, AR, dial details etc.. differences are very subtle though. Weight of the stainless steel versions of the reps and gens are within 95% of each other. Reps for the rose gold and platinum versions are generally significantly lighter.
  11. Toro, Angus, Josh et al gets their stocks from the same factories.. the differences would be the meticulousness with which they inspect the products before posting them for QC. Some issues, like loose parts in the movement, loose clasps, stuck rotor etc cannot be spotted in QC pics and dealer involvement in the QC process could make very helpful differences. Sorry to hear about your experience and I hope it gets sorted out.
  12. Lol. This is the most dramatic ban ever. Congrats cc33 and bye frog! Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  13. +1.. and ask for a ridiculous amount of money doing so.

  15. Taciturn but accurate reply. http://www.pf-818.com/rolex-bamford-series-c-55_455.html There used to be more Bamford reps but apparently most have been discontinued, leaving one lonely Milgauss model....
