  1. The Noob v7 DSSD dial is accurate, or at least more accurate than the ARF one. One tell on the Noob model is the bigger "lollipop" lume dot on the second hand. So, (without inspecting the rest of the watch details) swap the Noob dial and second hand into the ARF one and you can have a more accurate looking watch. Case, crown, crystal, bezel/insert all needs to be studied for accuracy though. I was only pointing out the obvious flaws.
  2. color is always tricky, depending on lighting and unless the difference is very salient, hue or tone variations are sometimes not definitive call-outs. I do agree that this is a NWBG watch. Congrats and wear her well!
  3. The watch does look good @Drifterr, except that the dial should be blue transitioning to black, from top down. See the pic of the gen below. Other than that, it does look like a winner.
  4. Hi guys I noticed that the ARF DSSD 116660 has been released. https://www.intime02.co/rollie/4448-sea-dweller-deepsea-116660-d-blue-arf-1-1-best-edition-904l-ss-case-and-bracelet-a2836.html Is it me or does the dial look off? The gen dial is supposed to be a blue-black split color, and this one just looks entirely blue?
  5. This is the first and only Tudor that gets me. Beautiful and well done. oh, and next time, no passing of gens as reps allowed, warnings will be given.
  6. It is a little like catching a cold. During different times, we get caught by different strains of viruses. You will walk through different phases in this hobby, some lasting longer than the others. It is important to enjoy and learn from each phase.
  7. Each of us here have different opinions on what is nice or accurate and what isn't. I will recommend you look at the following for a good start, bearing in mind your preference for watches: 1. Blancpain fifty fathoms.. good rep, try to get the Noob v2 if you can. The new ones by JF look quite good too. 2. Patek Nautilus: Closest now that a lot of the older, more accurate reps are no longer available: MKF V4. This one has a very very good dial and case quality. 3. Panerai on bracelet: I am mostly not a panerai guy, will need to defer this to someone with more expertise and knowledge.
  8. At the end of the day mate, a black on black watch is very easy to wear, and you can be guaranteed that any perceivable difference glimpsed on the forums will be forgotten or overlooked in real life. The forums turn us all into scholars and erudites with the enlarged, static pictures of watch dials and details. Remember always that the watches look a lot smaller in real life. And they usually are strapped on wrists that move quite a bit. So if you are able to spot a dial print difference, your position in relation with the wearer of the watch is highly questionable haha..
  9. well here are a few to start you off with: www.puretime05.com www.intime02.co www.trustytime.store Good luck!
  10. Firstly, a welcome to you to RWG and next, good tastes in watches. With the quality of reps getting better, I really think that buying the genuine is unnecessary. Of course, without the genuine model, the replica will not exist in the first place and it is important that we acknowledge and respect that.
  11. great idea T. You can start a poll if you are familiar with the contenders and we will vote! And of course, a possible prize or raffle for the guys who vote.
  12. well whats not gen about it haha.. congrats and wear her well! She is lovely!
  13. Thank you, it looks perfect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Looks fantastic. Is it gen? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk May I know which model and version is this please? Sorry I’m no Pam expert but this looks gorgeous and I want one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes WA is a trusted dealer on RWI. I do think that there is a long backlog now though on orders. Honestly the V2J is just a thinned V2, and like I mentioned I have done the same mod myself, it’s achievable. Puretime could be a dealer on the same model, I’m not sure. All I know is that the V2J model, while nice to own, is not modded in any extraordinary manner which isn’t achievable by watch modders with some skill and patience. If you can, get the v2J. Else (if the v2J waiting time is too long for you) get the v2 and send it for mods to a modder later on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Then I think no reps offer what you’re seeking at the moment. It might be easier for you to get a rep and fit on an aftermarket bezel with the correc type of diamonds you seek. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Well I’m unsure what you meant by balance weights A but yes I do know of at least one ETA powered 15400 rep with the rotor in it (and no decoration plates) and 9.8mm thick. Screw height for gens vary and not all are recessed. It is not uncommon to find flushed and recessed bezel screws on the same gen watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Be on lookout for the v2J though it is the thinned down version of the v2. I think it’s available on watch archive http://warchive.net Have a look first buddy. They offer good stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That’s the v2 A. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well to reaffirm what was being said by skullface aka Yllekp, For 15400, get the v2J. Essentially it’s the JF v2 thinned down. I have thinned down a v2 to 9.5mm, same as the v2J it can be done, no biggie if you’re careful. For the 126600, get the ARF aka the bark of the dog. Lol. And have a happy 2018! 21. No way B that thing is thicker than my wrist lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That monstrosity will look right at home around the trunk of an elephant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Welcome and nice gens. It’s a slippery slope once you go into reps and a steeper one if you start modding them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. You can’t be serious with that thing P lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Looking forward to more pics and your review. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
