  1. @tech Take some time off those Nippon boxes and take a look at this bro. Lol I tread softly along the fine line separating raving insanity and lucid moments of ingenuity. The issue is I've no idea which is which mostly.
  2. Guys, Please be careful of a scammer who would sell and vanish. He has done this twice already and going by precedent, there would be a third time. The guy would claim to be shipping out of UK, but we believe him to be based in Iceland or some other place in Europe and using servers out of Iceland. Typically he would collect payment for watches, sometimes to multiple members, and then vanish, and delete his sales thread. Be on lookout for new members with very little post counts, (even if he has a VIP status), a very recent join date, and claims to be shipping out of UK (this could change of course, but UK is a convenient choice to scam EU buyers). I would like to commend member @d4v3 for sending me a PM on a seller who turned out to be a scammer. I could not do anything at the point of the PM then, as seller has done technically nothing wrong. But his fears have founded to be true. So thank you d4v3. Your observation and warning in this matter is very well appreciated.
  3. B you sound like we are watching out for a sasquatch or something.. lol
  4. Lol are you serious about this? Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  5. I have been following the case before its exposure, and sadly, sbybbuser is right in his accusation. Reppin has been given a chance to explain in a PM involving him and some of us crew members, but he chose to be silent and left the conversation. I guess that is a tacit relinquishing of defence. The OP has been given full consent to post this account.
  6. I know the Singaporean craftsman as well... @aflop
  7. Hello @lovesRM and welcome! I have seen some of your APs over at RWI and they are very nice indeed.
  8. This is beautiful and original. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  9. Keep the watch mate it's unique. But get its lesser brethren and build the Monte Carlo anyway you know it'll call your name again down the road soon! Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  10. Guys just an update. Sorry for taking so long we had issues looking for a suitable printer. The datewheels are being printed now and we would keep everyone updated. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  11. There is only one Miyota company producing the movements used in low to mid level gens and in the recent 2 years, reps. It is reliable in general, but known to be noisy and in need of oiling/silencing.
  12. Welcome newbie. It is not easy for the average man on the street to differentiate a well-made submariner replica from the genuine. Remember that in real life, it is a 40mm dial on a moving wrist. If you talking about static picture comparisons, yes even if the most well-made rep would have flaws. But in a real life scenario, I do not think you need to worry about the recently released reps.
  13. +10000 The c&w is a nice watch on its own. But nowhere close to the z one. However I do have to say that they got the red dial plate right. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  14. I owned the gen, the Zorro GP and yes I saw and handled the c&w. The c&w is nowhere close to gen. It is a nice watch yes. But given the wrong tachy width and color, and the position of the date window, as well as the subdial finishings, I would not go so far as to say it's "very close to gen". It does however look nice on its own! The zorro gp is closer to gen in my opinion than the c&w model. 15. After some deliberation in the smoking room, we have decided that a new moderator is needed in view of the opening up of the sales section and new sales rules. We decided that we needed a dedicated someone who would patrol the area with vigilance when Mike and I are high on the whiskey and delirious from the cigar smoke inhaled. We have hence added member Kernow, a mostly good guy sometimes prone to fits of drunken violence and drug induced rages, but mostly a good guy ahem. Please join me in welcoming the latest power ranger! (orange polka dotted suit) @Kernow, you're obligated to buy the next round for us all before your official duty begins! @nanuq@mike on a bike Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  16. Which does remind me that we have a possible project to discuss about. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  17. Brother you are way too kind. Thank you for your overly generous statement but your work on the ROOs created a whole new slew of impressively modded APs in the market. You are singlehandedly creating a mass market for highly modded APs where there were very little before. Lol Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  18. Happy birthday chief. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  19. Congrats B and she looks fantastic as expected. What took you so long?!
  20. Well bro, for this election, you gotta choose the one who irks you the less!
  21. Lol! You know what I mean bro but back on topic yes the new Quartz movements are fine looking. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
