  1. I'm up at 7am on a Sunday morning. I'm still wondering why. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  2. Having lived in tropical Singapore mostly, I would want to live in a country which is snowing 365 days a year just for the change. Question: A large wild boar charges you in a forest, and you have time for one shot from your rifle, or you can turn to flee. Which would it be?

    B.B. King

RIP Mr King. You'll always be the King of Blues even in the afterlife sir.
  4. nothing beats gorging on seafood by the beach.
  5. Welcome my fellow Singaporean member! You have come to a great community, maybe the best one out there for the hobby! As you could tell, I have been here for a while, and would be pleased to help you where needed.
  6. Contrary to popular belief, the bezel screws in gen divers are NOT consistently sunken. There's no need to be obsessed w bezel screws. If you can get them slightly sunken, it's nice. Else, don't fret about it. I've seen gens with bezel screws that are less than perfectly sunken. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  7. Listening to "Lately" by Stevie Wonder.. Oldie but brought back a lot of memories...
  8. The 153 reference in @panerai153's nick refers to his address if I remember correctly you silly boy. Going by the same theory, your nick should be APmanganesemine15948 since that's where you're staying mostly these days with your tycoon father and the rest of the royal family. 9. The AR on the V4 onwards are all pretty good A. The gen diver AR is not double coated for sure, but it's just a pretty good single side coated. The ceramic model comes w an A2824 movement and the plate decoration. The low beat conversion was completed and the decorative plate put back on the ETA movement. So the result is pretty pleasing to the eye I would say. The diver has about 55hrs power reserve now, close to the gen spec of 60hrs. The powermatic80 movement is actually better than the AP3120 calibre in my opinion, more of a workhorse and less fanciful. No fluff at all sir. Being financially constrained, I opted for the ETA low beat conversion instead of the ultimate one involving the powermatic80. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  10. Speech and bladder both, judging from the way he was trying to piss all over a somber situation.. Totally out of place there. Good call Big B.
  11. Hey A The movement in this diver is an ETA low beat, with the 3120 plate decoration. And my gratitude and respect goes back to you for being patient and understanding during the process of our communication, and being humble and gracious enough to learn, highly qualified professional in real-life nonwithstanding. If every member is like you, RWG would become a community for high-society and high IQ folks
  12. Its probably one of the first few A3120 decorated movements transformed to a low beat ETA, but many will follow.. the movement is still an A2824 but with a plate decoration bro, like you know well.. nothing to shout about.
  13. Yes its another lovely day!
  14. Time Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  15. Here's mine! ETA low beat movement, waterproofed to 10 atm, serviced and regulated with 55hrs power reserve and keeps time to within 2 sec a day! A dream come true I would say @folex are you seeing this yet? :D Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  16. Respect yourself first. Only then will you be respected by others.
