@omni.....I echo your recommendaation of the glocousamine/chondroitin regimen and I would add MSM to that......and BTW: it's not placebo effect.....I've been a runner of and on but, it became a daily routine when I got out of the service in '86. In '95 I had to stop running because of osteoarthritis, then I read the book of Dr. Theodasakis about his study/research on gloco/chondro and I started taking them......3 months later I was back running. I've added weight training to my routine about 15 years ago and always feel great for my age......BTW: your older than me ! Once in awhile I experience what TJ is going thru and I also self adjust my self and it always feel better after that. It's also my routine before a heavy weight workout (chest/shoulder)........just like part of stretching routine. My sis-in-law whos a chiro says its ok!

Since I don't really have any scientific equipment to test for water resistance, I thought I should just make one out of a really tall pretsel container that holds about a gallon and a-half of water and added a teaspoon of salt just to make it more exciting. I greased all the gaskets of these watches b4 they got in, except the SSD! These are the watches that went in: and this is how they all looked like in the bottom: Wow! They all passed!!!! Except the SSD come out with some rust on the end links, but I think it was from the sprinG bar because it easily wiped off! I love all these watches after this test! I know in the ocean snorkeling or diving is a different story, but at least for daily wear and occasional swimming, they should be fine! THANKS! HIKE

I can't say for sure, but when I did the 24 hour water immersion test, the SSD came out with some rust on the end links, but I think it was more from the springbar. I will post some pictures of this later!

This is something new and different. Mine (and a lot of others) had the crystal improperly installed with the 3 o'clock side about 1 mm higher which made the watch improperly sealed and prone to water leakage. I returned mine and I think you should, too! If you start fixing it and you break it in the process, you'll have an expensice souvineer in your hands! Hike
